Awesome review, love these ladies! In my opinion, they sound WAY better now then when they first started. They were good, but now they’re on a whole other level, with not only how well they play their instruments after 20+yrs of playing them, but vocally as well. Their new album ‘Fire’ is, hands down, the best stuff they’ve ever written! Some songs are HEAVY as hell & they will make you bang your head till your neck gets sore, and some songs are a little softer with beautiful melodies with catchy choruses like this one. It has a little bit of everything, and I love that!
I was so excited seeing their new stuff, i had multiple albums but was stolen with my 10+ years of other music collection. I'm glad they're back, alot of people write them off but these ladies are pioneers in NU metal and was asked to come back into the spotlight, and that says alot...been feeling very nostalgic this past week, check out fire if you haven't yet.
Great reaction! This is actually the 4th single! The first single was "Eye Wide Open" which so far is the HEAVIEST, all harsh vocals!!!! Then they released "We Are Shadows" and then "Vultures" and now this one. They were in a 13 year hiatus!!! Their last CD was released in 2011!!! I LOVE KITTIE!!!! Can't WAIT for the album to drop!!!!! They're back and they came out SWINGING w/ "Eyes Wide Open"!!!!
