    You are going to improve so much as a sprinter 🔥 group training is the one 💯
    Gutted we couldn’t grab you for E&H 🤣
    Looking forward to see how your running style may change with the sprint coach.
    Be patient with the hip flexor, it is getting there 🤞🏿

      @@Niketa.A I was looking at the travel time and E&H would just be a bit too far for me to be able to commit regularly, whereas Colchester is 20 mins down the road. See you soon!

    Hi Steve.
    Good luck with your new club.
    I will only make one comment because clearly you are probably about to change things a bit anyway.
    Only comment.
    When our group was training hard our week broke down as follows speeding up towards the weekend.
    Early session over distance 450’s-600’s.
    Midweek 150’s-300’s.
    Weekend 40’s-100’s
    This changes during spring summer.
    I know that might seem quite basic but back then we didn’t have Strava or Garmins and rarely mentioned Km

      @@SteveGorrill Thanks pal - it’s going to be interesting. This hip flexor is taking a good while to settle down and the Chiropractor is giving that “should you really be racing” look every time I see her. I’ll see how the next 2 weeks go but it might be sensible to skip indoors and start to build for the summer months with the new setup.

      I know that look well 😂
      Maybe this is something to think about.
      From watching your recent videos it appears like the flare ups occur usually in your weekend speed sessions.
      Maybe you could substitute these for a week or two with say 200 repeats.
      Then commit to just the 200m at the championships.
      Chances are you won’t medal but a good run based on a smooth but not full sprint start building through the race with a strong finish could give you a PB.
      You walk away feeling great.
      Alternatively you miss the race and then get down and disappointed for a few weeks and the injury is still no better.
      I’ve had similar disappointment and they can be worse than the race injury.
      You still might have the niggle but vets outdoors championship aren’t while mid September and you never know I might even be fit for that myself 🙏
      Just a thought.

    2 benefits I see here:
    1.A coach will help you avoid burn-out and injury.
    2. Your form is already close to perfect, but you will get a third-person perspective only someone else can see.
    If my judgement about you is right, sub 60 is only a stepping stone to your final destination.
