Hah yeah I definitely was not used to the low ammo count of the revolver and it showed.

Hey, nice video. But I do have a couple of advices though (if you don't mind):
1) When the game says “the hunt is moving closer” it basically means the yellow portal spewed a bunch of enemies. They either stay near the portal or move around the map trying to “hunt” you. They are also marked by yellow orbs above their head and drop a small amount of ammo.
2) The “eyes” on top left are so called “calamity bar” and are part of “calamity” mechanic. Every time you make a mistake (get heavily damaged from an enemy, get damaged by a trap etc.) you increase the calamity bar. By the way, when you get cursed by picking up an item what it does is a little damage (mainly, to snap you out of your focus) and calamity bar increase. Once calamity bar gets 5 eyes it triggers calamity event. It slowly damages your sanity. There you have 2 options: either destroying catalyst (which is a vortex you can spot by looking at the sky) or waiting it out and fighting it. You got jumped by it at 23-minute mark and also 43-minute mark. If you manage to survive thorough it you get a bunch of loot ofc.
3) Some events require you to be at full focus. Which is why you tried to an event at 40:45 but then you got damaged, you focus was gone and now that event was not accessible (game also told you that at 41:35 but it was barely visible)
4) 1:08:08 Need to pay attention next time. At 3:49 it says “complete at least two and come back”. You only need to do 2 tasks out of 3 this time and since one was already complete, now you just need to have either 30k witchfire on you or kill the Scarlet Coast boss. But doing just one of them is enough
Also, ammo chests refill ~80% of ammo and since ammo is finite and has a max amount, I would suggest not pick them up until you get like… half the ammo down on both guns

Thanks, this is good advice, honestly I do like figuring out stuff on my own and don't mind games with a learning curve, and with full understanding that this is an early access game, there are definitely at least a few things that I think the game could be doing a better job explaining. Still loving it so far though!

Yeah, this is why i only mentioned stuff in this video, theres a lot more to discover and a lot more to experience with higher gnosis. I just did some explaining regarding basic stuff. I guess theres a reason the game doesn't explain everything (so you have fun figuring out on your own) but it definitely had a calamity tutorial in the hermitorium at least
