    Love your POVs😍 Whats the difference between your lightroom presets and the color grading presets?🤔

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Lightroom presets are more of a base preset just for basic adjustments. The color grading is for the shadows, highlights, and mid tones. If you watch my last Lightroom video you can see how I use them to get an idea. Thanks for watching and enjoying the content man 🙏🏻

    In a pinch you can use a grocery bag. Cut a hole in it and attach to lens with lens hood. Then pull over the lens and camera. Ive done that a few times. It works

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’ve seen some tricks. Honestly I didn’t know it was gonna train. I checked the weather and it was just a quick passing storm but I didn’t think it would be that intense

    Great videos and thanks for sharing your camerasettings!! I wonder though why do you mostly use a wide aperture like 2.8 and not a narrow aperture like 9 or something like that. And quite some of your captures seem to be sharp throughout even with that wide aperture, how do you manage to get that in your shots?

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s all about having good glass plus wider angle lens don’t show the lack of depth as much when shoot subject that are far away. I like the low apertures because I can get a faster shutter speed

    I love you POV videos but i allways wonder how you look for a picture to take, there are so many thing too look for that i dont know what and in what view too look for the right photo.
    Can you do some POV where you talk how you look for a picture at the same time you looking for picture to take? Whuld love to know how and what to look for.

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I could definitely do that the next pov. I sometimes get lost in the moment and forget to talk lol. But honestly it just what ever comes to me in the moment the city is constantly moving and change you never know what your gonna find. Im playing in doing a long exposure video soon and that’ll give me more time to talk about composition since I’ll be setting up a tripod. But for my videos after that I’ll keep that in mind.

    Are you shooting in burst and center AF? I am having a tough time with getting sharp shots

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use expanded focus and use the little joystick in my camera to select the area I want to do use for the most part. I’d say start there with non moving objects to get a good feel of it. What kinda lens go you have on your camera ?

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว

      And yea I use auto focus for the most part

    • @lilymetcalfe97
      @lilymetcalfe97 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PhotoTripps23 Thank you for the quick reply! I'll try expand focus and move the joystick myself. I have a range of lenses from wide zoom to 55 prime and more recently 70-200 GM II. I also noticed with a ND filter I have it seems to make my photos blurry even at 1/1000 shutter..

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’d try to play around with some different focusing settings to see what’s best for you. The ND filter shouldn’t cause any issues especially at 1/1000. You have some really nice glass aswell so that shouldn’t be the issue. I don’t like the basic auto focus setting that Sony offers on the a7iii because it definitely misses sometimes, being in full control is ideal. I know the new A74 has great Improved but still even if I had that camera I’d want to be in full control. Good luck with testing some different things out. If you have any other questions down the road just lmk

    I feel like you're taking the term "STREET PHOTOGRAPHY" too literally and literally shooting streets or portraits of fancy cars and bikes on them or cyclists with a telephoto lens. From this video we can clearly see how many shots you didn't fire at all. It's clear that you're not interested in shots that are considered typical street reportage. In my opinion, these photos are typical tourist snaps from a trip to the city. Mostly boring and one-dimensional in terms of content. There's not even any idea for a frame here.

    • @PhotoTripps23
      @PhotoTripps23  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I’m not sure how many videos you checked out but obviously this one wasn’t your cup of tea. I take shots of what enjoy / see on the streets of New York. If a certain scene grabs my attention to become a report I’ll do so
