I love kippers but under the threat of divorce I was forced to find a method cooking them without, in Jacob’s words, “Stinking the house out for days”
I discovered John West kippers in a can, jolly fine kippers without the pervasive smell and with no possibility of choking on the bones

That’s what I’m going to do with my last kipper, fry it in butter 🧈 and add it to potato and gherkin salad.

This chef person was trying to demean Moggie, I didn't like his insulting little backstabbing comments injected here and there under the guise of humour. Its not his business what Moggie does in the kitchen, or what he knows or doesnt, just show him how to cook the kippers that's what you are there for! Apart from that try not to be insulting.

Cooking Ukippers, now cooking Reformers. Same extremism, same demagoguery.
Do not bake kippers, you will stink out your oven for three weeks. The best way is to fry them or if you have the fillets microwave them in the bag. Also wrap up the remains in newspaper and throw them out in your main outside bin, don’t put the remains in your kitchen bin and immediately clean your frying pan after eating otherwise you will have to live with the smell.
