Hi man, I'm from Spain, and I've seen how you said that it was difficult to determine if the developers were fans of pokemon or if they wanted to have the same popularity, I'll respond, none of those, Dani (CEO of Novarama) said that the idea of the game is based on that idea that we had some in our childhood about the monsters that lived in our house (You know, the monster of the closet and all that), in addition, I think they also told that they tried that the Invizimals did not resemble any Pokemon, like Tigershark, that in beta it was yellow but they changed it so they would not take it as a plagiarism to Pikachu. Sorry for possible bad english.
Can confirm, as an Italian during my childhood and teenage years i was all Over invizimals and still am to this day, the games were loads of fun and just kept me hooked, almost had all of the invizimals too, only missing the tournament ones such as Boneshell and Moby
A new game has to be released. In the last video of the resistance it shows jasmine meeting Campbell and then the screen goes dark. We would all love to see what happens next
I am so glad I discovered this game! If mum had never bought me the Alliance I probably wouldn't have loved it so much. Then I found out there were earlier games and the story made so much more sence! It's a shame that it's been dismissed and I hope they make a final game to finish of the psvita story. Invizimals holds a special memory and helps me remember the fun I had with mum (bless her heart) and I still love replaying them now and even drawing them.
I loved the card game as a kid more than the videogames, I recently found a BIG pile of cards that I used to play with and decided to try to re-download the alliance games on my smartphone, but they wouldn't open up on new devices. That broke my inner child's heart...
I'm a old fart but still love a little Pokemon action...... did not know about this ... I picked up the Invizimals (PSP) game a few months ago and dismissed it. Thanks for this informative video... I'll have to go back and search out copies to have a go at this .... looks like you need a cam and a "trap" for the PSP versions ?
The trap should be included in the case with the game but often is missing. Technically, you could print one out and cut out the middle - I may do some follow up videos about the series. But yes, you do need the camera.
It was a very similar principle, but the capturing of Invizimals was much more creative. Every Invizimal had it's own little minigame you had to pass to catch it based on their personality. Some were simpler, like the first was just a wasp that you had to smack, but the further you progressed the harder they got. Like the prideful Kukulkan, which you had to defeat in combat and dodge the rocks he threw at you inside his ruins.
Man, I miss Invizimals so much. It's a shame that the series dissapeared, here in Spain it was a pretty big thing, I wish it got the fame it deserves.
Same here :( Do you have discord? We could talk abouy invizimals and stuff
Pls read xD

Invizimals the lost kingdom was one of my childhood games, and it's sad that the series basically died after the lost kingdom from what I can tell

My God this had such a magical effect on child-me.
I was all about barcode battler as a child in the 90's
My local game shop has one.
novarama lost their Invizimals rights in 2016, that's the reason why there isn't another game or cards
Was Invizimals similar to Pokemon Go and Jurassic World Alive?
