Thanks for the video! I've been curious about both these. It answered some questions. Not telling you how to run your channel but the popcorn music is rough. Would rather hear the machines and natural sounds.

Thanks, yeah I got demonetized and had to use TH-cam music from their catalog. Looking for music like what you said that is not copyright protected, let me know if you know of some. Thanks for watching!

@@Fix-it-tony Unfortunately they are quick to demonetize. I'm not sure what style soundtrack your looking for. I do have some no copyright Rock music somewhere in my vast collection.

Nice comparison & review. Before buying, I definitely liked the look and quality of the Ego over the Greenworks. However, couldn’t pass up on the Greenworks for the $999 sale price at Tractor Supply. Since you have both, does the difference in look & quality of Ego justify the difference in price? Thoughts on the riding position, handling & comfort between the two?

Both have their positives, the Ego is a better street/camp ground bike with a smoother ride and higher top speed. It can be left outside without rusting unlike the Greenworks which uses cheap hardware. The Ego carries a spare battery, all batteries compartments are lockable and the ignition requires a key, something the Greenworks does not have. The Greenworks with its extra torque and bigger tires is superior off-road and over obstacles. It’s cheaper, but it’s clear quality was sacrificed for price point. They offer similar range with Ego’s 7.5 and Greenworks 8.0 and similar watt hour ratings. Ego offers bigger batteries though which drastically increases range. I’ve been getting 14-15 miles minimum with the 7.5 and 8.0, with Ego’s 12.0 I get 23-24 miles. Thanks for watching!

Choosing between these 2 and I'll probably end up with both.

Would someone 6'4 be comfortable on the Greenworks?

I just picked up a pair of the Greenworks a couple of weeks ago...I'm 6'4" 240'ish myself, I fit fine on it. It pulls hills pretty good, actually surprised it pulls my fat arse up some of the hills on my property. It's a little billy goat, maybe not going up the hills they tried to take it up, but I was surprised. I'm up north, it absolutely eats up the terrain offroad on frozen ground. I was worried I might pop a tire, but so far so good after 20 miles ripping around on my property. With the tires low it crawls over everything I've taken it through, not so good on ice of course...but snow it can handle fairly well.
I have not drained the batteries fully yet, it probably gets 10-11 miles with me on it...maybe more if you just cruise using economy mode(which I never use). I'll take it for ride and see my max distance on a charge when I get a chance, it's cold here so that may have to wait. :) The rear shock has basically no travel, so you need to ride accordingly, lift your butt when going over big bumps, you'll be fine.

My Greenworks mini bike stays for a week with batteries in it and does not drain.
