1900 was more of a boxing culture
But 2000 is more of ufc / mma culture
Absolutely not true that’s why influencers are having boxing matches and boxers make 20 times more than ufc fighters
Not for too long buddy.........
That's what y'all are saying for over a decade already... but MMA fighter still beg boxers for payday
@conormayweather5474 influencers only do boxing cause they are too scared to do mma. Boxing is an easy clown sport 🤡
@@conormayweather5474more people watch ufc than boxing. It’s a fact.
Y’all didn’t need to mention that kill for Ray Robinson, what happened really fucked up his psyche although he fought on. Crazy he dreamt the night before the fight that he would kill him.
that's what i like with previous boxers. they don't care about the win/loss records. they only want to prove that they are the strongest in their weight class. a lot of prime vs prime championship happened in that era.
All of them are great boxers no doubt, but that old school was just its own kind
Bro killed someone by hand this guy can kill an robber by hand to hand combat
Almost any trained fighter could kill a man with their barehands if they wanted to.
With gloves on💀
So can any mma fighter
@@etlonjonh almost anyone can, in general. It's shockingly not that hard to take a life, hence why restraint is such an important virtue in our societies.
@@HughMansonMDbro nice
When you added the one kill that was so cold 🥶🥶
What’s even more crazier about sugar ray’s kill is that he dreamed he killed his opponent the night before the fight.
The last one 💀
Rocky Marciano really said: what's defeat?🗿
What i enjoyed about 90s boxing was that nearly every weekend was some televised card of real good fights. The undecards were good as well.
Music: "can I fart"💀
Sugar Ray was crazy
rip Jimmy Doyle. left the earth like a real figther! respect to Sugar Ray Robinson for his outstanding martial arts intuition, hope he had found his peace before he pastaway.
Didn’t even show Julio Caesar Chavez 😭💯
I feel if I ever become a boxer I'd wanna fight like the legends from before.. I couldn't do 1 or 2 a year. That's light work, we are warriors...
Sugar Ray Robinson 🔥🔥🔥
The Last 3 are absolute beasts
The “1 kill” is mad disrespectful
the last guy must’ve been crazy
That kill tho........😮😂😅
Pro boxers of the past century were literally monsters. Nowadays we have really strong champs, but I can't even imagine me comparing Foreman's strenght, Muhammad Ali's speed, technique and footwork, Mike Tyson's peek-a-boo style against any of the actual champions right now...
Different back then, back then people boxed a lot but nowadays, I think boxers are getting better and better because of better nutrition and training as kids
Because the heavyweight the division has been a complete joke and borderline dead ever since Klitschko came in with his awful style. The lighter weight divisions are now by far the most entertaining styles but it’s not fair to compare strength of welterweights to heavy weight. But their people that easily have Muhammad speed like manny, Ryan, Garcia and the technical and footwork said like Mayweather and Lomachenko.
Prince has better foot work than muhamed ali.
That is just a bad take tbh. I see what you mean but i just think you are wrong
@@beelzebub1385but speed still goes to ali, and Ali is a heavyweight and Prince isn't, being a heavyweight and having such amazing footwork is absolutely no joke, imagine being more than 200 pounds and still having footwork so amazing that most boxers can't even touch 💀
Thats a great backround song.
Greatness in boxing before is not measured by being undefeated its being measured by the challanges the boxer faced
Sugar Ray Robinson 174-19 and 1 KILL
It’s not something to boast about
@@theoddgamer8266shut up
Ye he wasent even happy about the "KILL"cus it's a mans life
@@theoddgamer8266deontay wilder once said he wanted “ a body” on his record and Tyson also said he “ he regretted “ not killing someone in the ring so I’m pretty sure it’s something that’ll boast their self esteem but for sugar ray it wasn’t
Why would you be happy to kill someone? Even if it’s for revenge, you’d feel a lot of things, but happiness wouldn’t be one of them
Bro, Manny Gave a one hell of a fight in boxing. No running and no cherry picking, And he will trade if needed and let his opponent hit him so he can't lose his spirits after getting outscored❤
Manny is rob so many fights
Back when being a heavyweight wasn’t just being big you had to have skills not just to make it but to survive
Last one is a savagery
🙏❤️🕊️ May that opponent forever rest in peace
His name was Jimmy Doyle
Robinson stated that he couldn’t hit a man as hard anymore after he killed Doyle imagine if he actually didn’t stop hitting as hard his record would’ve been even better.
Lil bro got a kill💀
Smokin Joe Frazier and Larry Holmes are like the most underrated boxers , if someone looms at skill amd style instead of record they will be recognized to be among the greatest.
Ray Rob the best ever. This man was fighting in rounds way past 10-12 or 15.GOAT!!!!!
Muhammad Ali 🥹🥹🥹
N.1 ✊️✊️
❤
John Dempsey and Thomas Hearns💀
Lightweight and middleweight vs. heavyweight , genius
How do you not put Julio Cesar Chavez in this list
This guy doesn't know shit abput boxing.
Exactly. Ppl who no boxing no he almost had 100 straight wins. And most of his loses were w guys bigger at the end of his career.
He fought mostly bums that’s why
Terrence Crawford mostly
@@seanculver9487 this wasnt a list
23 year sample vs 100 years? Makes sense
No matter what sport it is people will find a way to hate on the newer generations
Bro I was thinking exactly this, such a small sample group for the 2000s.
Not showing Tyson fury when he has arguably the greatest record atm is criminal
Newer generation does what the old generation did lol, there're just doin it in thier primes as the old pro did, nun to hate about at all lol
