hi jonny.. here are two type of spike by the killer.. one landed by feet, one landed by back, both has pro and cons, most killer will use one type, very less killer use both type of spike in same game.. A good spike or spiker is often referred to as the 'killer'. Some of the most impressive feats are the roll spike (the player leaps into the air to kick the ball over the opposite shoulder) and the sunback (similar to a scissors kick but over the same shoulder).

We malaysian call that upside down smash kick as "lipat gunting" lipat is flip and gunting is scissor. Its called as scissor cuz when they jump and flip the legs looked like scissor spreading 😂
others are wearing a bandana to give a bit of cushion bec the ball is so hard that if you are a first timer and you will hit the ball using head, you will definitely say like, "boxing is waaaaay better"
malaysia vs indonesia got a few better rallies than shown here 😅 from the sea games and also a few from the asian games too, like the s.koreans are getting better too with this game.
