My daughter was born on 12/22 and we put all of our hospital bracelets from that day in the clear ornament with the lid & hang it on the tree every year 🥰
OMG.......my oldest son will be 40 on December 30th, his bracelet from the hospital came off without being cut. I love the idea of putting it in a clear ornament. He and his kids will get a kick out of it. I will do the same with my other son and daughter also. What a great idea!!!! Thanks!
Last year I bought those dollar trees and little buckets. I also bought all the things to decorate. So thanksgiving evening all the girls in the family sat around the table decorating our own mini trees (which we stuck in dollar tree floral styrofoam inside the little buckets). It was a wonderful time to craft and bond and now we all have our own mini Christmas tree to let the meomory live on. It was so fun seeing how different they all were.

I have a lot of family members (12) so I wrap all at once because I get a bunch of good gifts and assign them to people later. I'll switch gifts for people if I have doubles or forgot a gift for someone and work it out that way. Unique situation
We do similar. Big family so we pick a theme like coffee or whatever & everyone gets the same thing mug, coffee, chocolates. There's variation so sometimes we trade around its fun.

I got some of the Hallmark-branded wrapping paper from the Dollar Tree last year, and it was comparable to the higher quality stuff I'd gotten from Walmart in recent years. Much thicker and easier to work with than the Dollar Tree paper I've purchased before!
For the Christmas tree buy 2 and move all the branches to one side on both and put them together zip tie them together and put them In a little bucket or pot in floral foam! I did it and it looks really good
looking forward to the eclectic look - I am also going old school traditional this year - in prior years we did metallics but now with grandchildren I want them to know the traditinal styles of Gigi!
I already made my first wreath and just have it sitting by the door until I feel like it's late enough in November to hang it and the neighbors won't judge me 😂😂😂
Also, suggestions to followers: i always save used/torn wrapping paper and bags, etc after opening gifts and drop off at recycling center instead of putting into dumpster. Great for the environment too since we are using so much paper! I save the untorn paper and bags and re-use the next year. I don't have to buy ANY wrapping items this year bc I saved some from last year.

For the mason jar ornament,make it look like a snow globe :) You’ll glue something to the inside of the lid then add some sort of liquid mixed with glitter and you have a snowglobe.

We buy gifts throughout the year and put back in the closet, so I don’t totally wrap as I go, but my goal is always to be finished with wrapping before thanksgiving so that there’s no December stress.

My go to for wrapping paper is a plaid and brown packing paper. It makes a cute, cohesive, traditional scheme and the packing paper is nice and thick so it’s really good for those special presents like you mentioned. I also like to make bows out of the alternative paper to bring everything all together, haha.

@@kaileemateika6125 if you are trying to go cheaper.. check out sites like Tophatter.. but do it soon.. usually takes about a month as most of the stuff comes from China.. some really interesting things for small cheap gifts there.. just keep in mind.. 70% of the time.. you get what you pay for.. but i've found some really good items for much cheaper that i'm pretty happy with.

My 12 year old doesn't really do toys anymore, my 14 month old has plenty, and my husband and I really don't need anything! I wrap all at once because my kids (and our dog) are less tempted that way. I wait until everyone is asleep and either listen to festive music or watch a Christmas movie while I wrap up everything. The only problem with this is a couple of years ago I ran out of wrapping paper at 11 PM on Christmas Eve, haha. I got creative with some of the brown paper that delicate things often come wrapped up in and nobody was the wiser! Those mailboxes would be a cute way to display Christmas cards without it taking up a whole wall or mantle too! Can't wait to see what you do with the mason jar!
I liked using the mini christmas tree as a nice swag on my wall, just shift the branches so one side is flat the other side is fuller turn some of the bottom branches down to give if a swag shape and add some DT ornaments so pretty. Also the cloth placemats are amazing as throw pillows
I'm always ON IT when it comes to buying gifts throughout the season... but wrapping, I definitely procrastinate! I also have to help my grandmother wrap and she buys way to much. I think I just get a little overwhelmed and decide that bags are definitely worth it after all that wrapping haha DT definitely has some nice bags for just $1 too! Thanks for the video.

I got creative with some of the brown paper that delicate things often come wrapped up in and nobody was the wiser!
Those mailboxes would be a cute way to display Christmas cards without it taking up a whole wall or mantle too!

I love the gift bags with sparkly tissue paper. I get it all at the Dollar Store. I tend to wait until all my gifts are bought before wrapping.

I liked using the mini christmas tree as a nice swag on my wall, just shift the branches so one side is flat the other side is fuller turn some of the bottom branches down to give if a swag shape and add some DT ornaments so pretty. Also the cloth placemats are amazing as throw pillows

I'm always ON IT when it comes to buying gifts throughout the season... but wrapping, I definitely procrastinate! I also have to help my grandmother wrap and she buys way to much. I think I just get a little overwhelmed and decide that bags are definitely worth it after all that wrapping haha DT definitely has some nice bags for just $1 too! Thanks for the video.
Buy first think later, I also agree, because I always get more ideas as I start to decor without a plan, it comes naturally 🙂
