Hey, Norespawns. I gave a shoutout to you on one my last Sanctuary updates. Without your video, I didn't know how to build flush designs around the roofs of the ruined houses. Now I'm taking my time with my Starlight Shelter which is like a mall-esque design with shops, r&r etc under one building. Thanks again and keep up the phenomenal work.
I love to "boxcar bunker" entrance. I'm totally going to steal that for my Oberland Station build. I'm planning to build the entire settlement almost exclusively out of boxcars, going on the idea the settlers their scavenged a train they found at the station to build the settlement.
I made him fight a Legendary Albino Deathclaw in Power Armor with a Never Ending Shotgun... The Deathclaw picked him up and stabbed him then threw him away.
Yeah, the worst part of the Vault Tec Workshop DLC was building the Vault. Ugh, I would love to play Overwatch on PC. I suck ass at First Person Shooters but I've watched so much Overwatch gameplay, it actually looks incredibly fun.
what i used to do ( still haven finished gathering in this survival playthrough ) was when i used a bus or other ''heavy'' things i would have a settler in power armor or place the power armor on a ''workshop'' place to give the feeling they used the power armors to move them.
I watched your Murkwater video and I built up the frame next to the house using the barn parts. I used the place anywhere mod (which helps alot since I'm a dunce at the pillar glitch) I also set up a raised bed using two coffee tables, a quarter floor piece and a matress. I used the same mod to place some conduits in the trees and ran it to the house. :-) Great video btw. :-)
Mate I don't even know how you're building a vault without mods they make it so much fucking better there's so much useful new corner pieces and just new room pieces
I was hesitant at first about getting an ssd because I thought, "How much better can it be?" It was worth every penny. I'm sure you know all the bullet point positives and all the numbers, but until you experience it first hand it really is hard to comprehend just how much less waiting around you do.
Old video but I love the idea of a Let's Play. You could design your character based on the kinds of places they might build, and you wouldn't need to focus on that, just do some more limited settlements, like us regular, lazy folks, do. :-)
About a letsplay: if you're into that sort of thing, you could do a roleplay run. Stay in character during recording, and do all building and levelling "off camera". Just do the main missions, and any side missions you feel are appropriate to your character. Realistic, or craaazy! ;-)
I'd love to make settlements small and cozy like this, but don't the settlers wander outside and stand around in the barren land that you didn't build on? That's what happened with Sanctuary when i made it small, so now i just build settlements to their whole size.
The place in the red mod has just come out on Xbox, that'd be really handy for him. Plus all the other mods that add items and such. Sony need to get a move on.
Really, I still cannot belive I didn't think of building houses around settlements, covering up spaces between them, instead of wasting resources and space on walls...that don't even help that much. This way houses serve as walls and I can even use roofs as guard posts~
For ages I thought your username was 'Nore - Spawns' but then I looked at your profile picture and I realised your name was No - respawns. Great video by the way.
Do you have any tips on making the scaffolding framing less... excitable with its snapping when you place it? I notice when you do it, even at double speed, it acts a bit fiddly but largely behaves. I can't get 'em to calm down in the slightest, and they're always jumping all over the place... I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.
there's a glitch where you can get loads of settlers on ps4 without mods obviously, but basically when your settlement is full, ie sanctuary, go to red rocket, select a settler n set them up as a supply runner for sanctuary, when they start walking up too sanctuary, follow them, once inside sanctuary, go in to settlement mode, select the red rocket supply person you followed, and command them too farm some food, they will try n leave, just keep commanding them too farm till they have a farming symbol, when that happens your settlement will increase. slow process I know but with no mods, it wil have too do, my sanctuary settlement has 50ppl so far, in the process building a vault style apartment flats for them
It really only works with very high charisma (grape mentats and sharp armour pieces ftw) but if you have Automatron, that DLC gives you the quest rogue robot which lets you recruit a settler. You can use that to make a city.
+leighton taylor I've tried that autotron glitch, not sure why it doesn't work for me, the settlers are dead when I get there, maybe it's cause I use survival mode
I bought the collectors edition but i wanted it for the figure of Adam Jensen and the art book not for the extra chap for the game.the deus ex series is one of my favourite series with fallout and ratchet and clank. i hate when production companies push shitty extras.
What about instead of building a vault like structure at Vault 88 build an underground city, using the vault blocks as houses. It does have the space for an underground city.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided is pretty awesome. I feel though the voice acting is not the best. And plus the lip syncing is kind of off. But it's easy enough to ignore. I love the mechanics of the game overall.
Yeah, the vault was just too boring for me, all those identikit rooms. My underground city of New Lamplight now rivals Sanctuary for being a great place to be. There's just so many great original features that are obscured or scrapped when you do a vault build, such as the trains and tracks, and the subway area, and lighting can really make it look great.
hey Davey, regarding the vault. Sorry if you've been asked this before or answered it, but do you plan on adding any exercise rooms for the pommel horse thing and such? I know your vault ain't that big so I dunno if you even have room. that's the only thing I can really think of apart from a barber or something but anyway it's getting pretty late here up north so good night I guess!
hey norespawns, I have been working on a junk decorated sanctuary since I watched your tour video, and I am experiencing a strange problem, I have never been attacked, aside from 1 time with bloatflys, and ive been spending most of the time on site anyway so I would know, but my fridge, shelf of nukacola and mama Murphy's chem stash have all been pilfered from, I know piper likes her sweets and cait the drugs.... do companion settlers steal stuff?
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but does norespawns use the "place anywhere" mod? Because I've tried doing some of the things he's done before, like in his disguised bunkers video, I could not get those junk fences to be flush against the walls, even with the pillar or rug trick.
First select the whole building with Group Select by holding down your select button (E on PC, X on PS4, A on Xbox). Once the building is selected release the button, then hold it down again. Now you can use the mouse or analogue stick to move the building around without walking. To move the building straight up and down use the mouse wheel or hold down left bumper and use the analogue stick whilst holding the select button. I'm on PC so I hope I remembered the console stuff correctly.
+Trey Hampton (I'm a pacifist) they don't teleport in - they spawn in set places; just find out where the spawns are make sure they're outside the walls. Issue solved.
+norespawns if u fast travel to the settlement when u get the notice of an attack the game takes into acount how long it takes for u to get there and moves the attackers closer to the center of the settlement regardless of defense or walls. but if ur in the settlement at the start of the raid they spawn at their spawnpoints. i still build them cuz they look cool though
The bar one is very finicky. If you are using the new ones they aren't working, but with the lemonade stand ones you will need to do a lot more work. Try putting a large rug underneath it with a couple of smaller ones in a trail, that should work.
The level 3 bar's bounding box is somewhere to the right of, and kind of behind, the graphical model. It's definitely not where it should be. If you're "behind" the bar when you place it, try moving it way over to the left and away from you, far enough that the legs aren't even on the rug. It's in that area somewhere that it'll hop. I hate it _so much_. :|
+Deadshot Daiquiri Contraptions offers the scaffolding, box cards and warehouses. More pure building stuff, Wastelands Workshop adds concrete stuff and is pretty geared towards arena fights. Sounds cool but I hardly use it though it added decorations that are a must, like neon. They both offer loads and are pretty decent in price.
Hey man, if ya need some extra inspirations for building check out Jug videos. He helped me alot at the very beginning of FO4. Good Video man. Can't wait for Nuka World.
I'm pretty sure he didn't. I used his build to make my own and asked about it once or twice. I don't think it had anything to do with lag or too many glitches or whatever. It was just a long build and like a lot of things in this game some of the expected mechanics and physics in this game don't work like you'd expect. For example, once the cages were built, you'd put in the trap, capture the animal, then free it inside the cage only to have bethesda scripts teleport it outside the cage. I ran into the same problems. Really frustrating. I think it was one part boredom and being ready to move on and two parts the disappointment of things not working like you'd expect.
I know you told us to show you videos on twitter but i hate twitter and never making a an account. If you would like i have put out a new sactuary build I think you would like please check it out if you have the time

are you gonna move Sheffield to the nuka world settlement so he can be forever happy?
And quite potentially get shanked by Raiders? definatley.
+Bill Smith Stop arguing with Dill, Bill! 😂
I never thought of that, right now Sheffield is my bitch but I may let him go and be free
sadly on my main save he died damn mirelurks
I made him fight a Legendary Albino Deathclaw in Power Armor with a Never Ending Shotgun...
The Deathclaw picked him up and stabbed him then threw him away.
"Probably 90% of the video is me storing the pillar and then looking for it." I love your humor almost spit my soda out though.
Yeah, the worst part of the Vault Tec Workshop DLC was building the Vault.
Ugh, I would love to play Overwatch on PC. I suck ass at First Person Shooters but I've watched so much Overwatch gameplay, it actually looks incredibly fun.
I highly recommend Overwatch. Would love to see you cover it on your other channel too!
looking great, very different feel from other settlements
LOL "the soul-crushing monotomy of decorating Vault 88" I feel you man, I'm so sick of my vault i don't even go there anymore..
Great video, love your fallout builds keep up the great quality vids 👌🏻
what i used to do ( still haven finished gathering in this survival playthrough ) was when i used a bus or other ''heavy'' things i would have a settler in power armor or place the power armor on a ''workshop'' place to give the feeling they used the power armors to move them.
I love the starting boxcar shack

Really loving the tunnel entrance!
Mate I don't even know how you're building a vault without mods they make it so much fucking better there's so much useful new corner pieces and just new room pieces
I know how. it's cause he's on ps4
The vault expanded mod?
I just love chilling and listening to you talk 😊
BGII! An amazing game, good to hear another fan is out there!
I was hesitant at first about getting an ssd because I thought, "How much better can it be?"
It was worth every penny. I'm sure you know all the bullet point positives and all the numbers, but until you experience it first hand it really is hard to comprehend just how much less waiting around you do.
"You're a fucknugget"
-Davey, 2016
your menu scrolling is on point, probably not much time lost on storing pillars
Old video but I love the idea of a Let's Play. You could design your character based on the kinds of places they might build, and you wouldn't need to focus on that, just do some more limited settlements, like us regular, lazy folks, do. :-)
You are a genius sir! thank you for all the great ideas.
About a letsplay: if you're into that sort of thing, you could do a roleplay run. Stay in character during recording, and do all building and levelling "off camera". Just do the main missions, and any side missions you feel are appropriate to your character. Realistic, or craaazy! ;-)
U deserve more subscribers you make fantastic buildings and you are a good commentator
I'd love to make settlements small and cozy like this, but don't the settlers wander outside and stand around in the barren land that you didn't build on?
That's what happened with Sanctuary when i made it small, so now i just build settlements to their whole size.
Monday? It's Monday now! Get on my time zone rest of the world! Sincerely Australia
SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE PAIN
Woe be onto us, we men of the future.
Hi,
Where is the "Hangar Three Key Card"? And I can't find the key to the submarine door of the Mega Sat Station Off Shore.
Thank you
I'm just looking forward to your channel when Ps4 mods are out for us
HA! us ps4 players will never get mods, Sony is throwing bullshit at beth because they are paranoid of hackers
The place in the red mod has just come out on Xbox, that'd be really handy for him. Plus all the other mods that add items and such. Sony need to get a move on.
+sam raynes Really? Thought that needed a script extender that consoles cannot have because it would fuck it up.
It doesn't have feature parity, but it does help lift a lot of the object placement restrictions.
Mods are never coming out on ps4.... I just bought a 6 foot rope too
Really, I still cannot belive I didn't think of building houses around settlements, covering up spaces between them, instead of wasting resources and space on walls...that don't even help that much. This way houses serve as walls and I can even use roofs as guard posts~
Does anyone know where I can find the weapons that are supposed to come with this mod? Not having any luck so far.
Baldur's Gate, wow played that WAY back on PC and 5 discs, maybe 15 years ago
For ages I thought your username was 'Nore - Spawns' but then I looked at your profile picture and I realised your name was No - respawns.
Great video by the way.
Does anyone know the video where he built want other structures before this barricade?
Do you have any tips on making the scaffolding framing less... excitable with its snapping when you place it? I notice when you do it, even at double speed, it acts a bit fiddly but largely behaves. The automation glitch is so much easier and fun
+leighton taylor I've tried that autotron glitch, not sure why it doesn't work for me, the settlers are dead when I get there, maybe it's cause I use survival mode

How do you snap the concrete wall to make the bus fit anywhere? I'm on Xbox.
Don't know Xbox control, but hold select to select all.
Hold A. It works on anything that that doesn't already sink into the ground.
awesome, dude!
like what u did to star light drive through
You should have turned spectacle island into Alcatraz
Deus Ex Mankind Divided is pretty awesome. I feel though the voice acting is not the best. And plus the lip syncing is kind of off. But it's easy enough to ignore. I love the mechanics of the game overall.
have u ever tried to do something with longfellow's shack in far harbor?
I can't wait for your Nuka World play through
A NukaWorld let's play would be great!!
Yeah, the vault was just too boring for me, all those identikit rooms. My underground city of New Lamplight now rivals Sanctuary for being a great place to be. Are you going to do something with The Castle someday?
Check out some of his way earlier videos- he's already done it
+Bill Smith I know lel but Just wanted to see another one
+Furious Stunting I've done two builds already - go look
+norespawns already saw them, but i just wanted to see a new one :p
What mods are u using?
I think a lets play would be amazing. You remind me of Gopher for some reason.
I made a vault in the mechanists lair it's an amazing place to build it as it looks rustic. I'll Show a video of it to you on Twitter
Would love to see that
That sounds amazing
Are cool I'll do it later then
YEEEES DEUS EX: THE CONSPIRACY NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT IT THANK YOU!!!!!
Great video! Are you going to be doing settlement building on the PC with mods?
Settlers no longer stand creepily around at their spawn place at night. Can anyone else confirm?
I say the lets play idea was the best for nuka world
Why doesn't it work anymore?
hey Davey, regarding the vault.
Keep storing the pillars so you don't have to waste concrete building new ones.
I understand your name
How do you move the object your holding in the build menu farther away from you or closer to you without moving your cherecter?
L1/R1 + X
sxroll wheel on mouse.
or hold E and move the mouse for a finer precision movement and rotation
What are your specs for your computer (specifically processing speed in ghz)
I'm thinking about buying a pc or gaming laptop
He has mentioned any PC specs on videos for The Slog, but he is on PS4 for Fallout
This is one of my favorite builds of yours.
What are you going to do after Fallout? Btw if you really loved FO 3, 4, & NV then you should check out the originals!
david your funny when your frustrated
hey norespawns, I have been working on a junk decorated sanctuary since I watched your tour video, and I am experiencing a strange problem, I have never been attacked, aside from 1 time with bloatflys, and ive been spending most of the time on site anyway so I would know, but my fridge, shelf of nukacola and mama Murphy's chem stash have all been pilfered from, I know piper likes her sweets and cait the drugs.... do companion settlers steal stuff?
BANK HOLIDAY yiy scholls are still on oh
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but does norespawns use the "place anywhere" mod? Because I've tried doing some of the things he's done before, like in his disguised bunkers video, I could not get those junk fences to be flush against the walls, even with the pillar or rug trick.
he's on ps4 so he doesn't have any mods.
Hmm...maybe I was using the wrong walls then. I'll have to look again. Thanks!
how do you move buildings around without walking?
hold x and use left bumper :)
First select the whole building with Group Select by holding down your select button (E on PC, X on PS4, A on Xbox). Once the building is selected release the button, then hold it down again. Now you can use the mouse or analogue stick to move the building around without walking. D'oh beat me to it. By 5 minutes. And I was wrong. And he was more succinct. Phooey. :-)
+Justin Herrington THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have been looking for this for weeks!
Justin Herrington Well yours is a lot more descriptive, so theres that. :)
At Least It's Not Raining.
how do you get the metal stairs
technical question: how long this video in normal velocity?
Facecam for the nuka world playthrough? ;)
There is no point in putting walls around your base raiders teleport through, it's less of a hassle to just put down turrets
immersion
+Trey Hampton (I'm a pacifist) they don't teleport in - they spawn in set places; just find out where the spawns are make sure they're outside the walls.
Issue solved.
Aesthetic
+norespawns if u fast travel to the settlement when u get the notice of an attack the game takes into acount how long it takes for u to get there and moves the attackers closer to the center of the settlement regardless of defense or walls. but if ur in the settlement at the start of the raid they spawn at their spawnpoints. i still build them cuz they look cool though
Just putting down turrets, you must have some good looking bases...
I'm gonna do a little bit - falling brahmin!
nuka world is just a big hide and seek game. Most of it is just trying to find stuff..
Christ, I'm early. Hello from Ireland!
Hello from Norway
hello from Dublin,Ireland :D
i've been there loved every second of it
+Chris Brown ;D
Hello from Dublin
Hi norespawns
hey dude could you check out how I make guard towers and give me some tips or anything. also great vid
If you check his videos on The Slog he shows how to build one with Scaffolding
Bill Smith oh thanks. And did you see mine by any chance
+KAI no his was sufficient
Can I still be a fuck nugget if I don't purchase any of Square's micros? It's a personal preference.
+The Traitor Teyrn be whatever you want to be - chase your dreams
you could maybe release your save for like settlement ripper and then ask people to decorate for you just to see what they do with it.
Nocturne What does this have to do with me wanting to be a fuck nugget
yo is anyone else having trouble using the rug glitch on the bar emporium (vanilla one). I can glitch all the others exept the bar lol ;)
The bar one is very finicky. If you are using the new ones they aren't working, but with the lemonade stand ones you will need to do a lot more work. Try putting a large rug underneath it with a couple of smaller ones in a trail, that should work.

I can't build concrete stuff how do I
Wasteland Workshop DLC I think
+ThatOneDude thanks!
+ThatOneDude should I get wasteland or contraptions
+Deadshot Daiquiri they're both good, just look at what they offer and figure out which one you like more
+Deadshot Daiquiri Contraptions offers the scaffolding, box cards and warehouses. More pure building stuff, Wastelands Workshop adds concrete stuff and is pretty geared towards arena fights. Sounds cool but I hardly use it though it added decorations that are a must, like neon.
They both offer loads and are pretty decent in price.
a year ago but what mod did you use for this?
You said dodo
Where is your arena?
This is his new save :)
It's way too laggy to go back to, as he did the size glitch a few too many times. Not to mention the frame rate drops due to junk decorations....
Squenix are the worst.
Are these settlements all one save?
You do realize Dave, you are sinking stuff into concrete(!), dont you? Looks so weird...
That moment when you try to buy Nuka world after imputing a 20 dollar card and it adds taxes :/
is anyone else wearing the marine wetsuit and pretending they are a super hero? if not neither am I
Hey man, if ya need some extra inspirations for building check out Jug videos. He helped me alot at the very beginning of FO4. Good Video man. Can't wait for Nuka World.
Jug doesn't really make realistic builds (still good) and Davey is purely realistic
falling brahmin llmao
Did you ever finish the arena?
That save is too laggy. It sucks, but these are fantastic as well.
Aw.
Oh well, nothing you can do when Beth decides to say nope.
Not without mods at least.
00:39😂😂
I know you told us to show you videos on twitter but i hate twitter and never making a an account. If you would like i have put out a new sactuary build
I think you would like please check it out if you have the time
Damn! I'm early for once!
is the cussing and negativity nessessary? great skill in builds but this is the reason I go to other channels for fallout stuff.
Yes.
Hi. May I ask if you would/could cut down on the cursing in your videos? Please, and thank you.
+AxelSmackdown lol nope - sorry.
+norespawns My g/f plays your videos on all the tv's at work. never had a complaint :)
What are you, a woman?
