Im big on it. The boxes have great art, and there's guaranteed hits. Plus they're cheap. If a 30 or 35 dollar box loses value, it's minimal risk. What? Does it go down to 20? Ok it's not a massive loss.
I been slightly overpaying from a girl with a distributor but she hooks it up fat on other stuff so I been grabbing a few. I think long term hold is great idea.
I became a sealed collector bc ripping luck but personally I like the Japanese art more than the English. I recently invested in some Japanese booster boxes after some of these reprints(paradigm, 151, lost abyss, violet and shiny treasures). I'm in it for the long term.
i collect English + all asian languages(Japanese/Thai/Indonesian/Korean/Simplified and Tradition Chinese) of my favourite cards. its a fun goal and grind haha.
Me personally i mostly collect English ETBs but I'm investing in Japanese booster boxes cause 1, they're sometimes cheaper than English booster boxes and 2, the artwork is just better
How exciting! For sealed I would mainly be looking for 151 and Lost Abyss but you should be able to pick up newer boxes for under $40. For the singles I would be looking to get raw cards to grade myself.
@@Itwasneveraphasecards I see, thank you for the reply! I'd gladly listen to any recommendations on which of the newer boxes I should buy as an investment (both to rip open and to keep sealed)
The Lugia V in Japanese as around $180 currently and Paradigm Trigger boxes are going for about $55. Would be a solid pickup at that price. Considering the chase card is over 3 times the booster box price thats worth grabbing. People will chase the Lugia because its a great art. I would go English over Japanese but still not a bad play at all IMO.
honestly, i dont buy the japanese boxes to invest. i buy them because they're cheap and fun to rip. if you want to rip cards and don't care about the price get the japanese boxes.
What is your stance on Japanese booster box investing?

I only have Japanese 151 and I think I’ll stop there

Wild force boxes for like 30 is a steal. Just look at the cards in the set.
Great video! Just bought a few 151s at local Ausie reseller but will keep in mind snkrdunk for next time!

I have fallen into the invest hole of Japanese booster boxes.. So ended up buying a 151 case.. Fingers crossed that it wont restock again.
Nice that’s awesome!
Who cares of its reprinted, it's not like it's gonna go to zero and it's a hot set even if it takes a year longer you will profit eventually
HI, interesting video keep it up!!
do you think that the shiny trasure v japanese box is a nice investment?
You are very good
Knowing it's 100% authentic is priceless
Appreciate the video. Definitely informative - wondering if you think with run-up in Japanese 151, other Japanese sets follow suit?
I collect and invest in both but Japanese is better overall imo
What makes you like Japanese more the print quality? Or?
I like Japanese more then English
That’s cool! Any particular reason why?
Just wondering what your take is on Parafigm Trigger? That box also got a reprint at the same time as Lost Abyss and Incandescent Arcana
