Hi! Is your pattern paper tracing paper? If so you can place your Lutterloh design on the board first and then put the tracing paper over the top, put the pin in on the X which you could see through the tracing paper or also velum paper. Hope this helps. I learned this from the Design to Fit video on making Lutterloh patterns.
