Thank you for joining us on this last day of our little trip home from Montisi to Chianni, via the verdant vineyards of wonderful Chianti and the gorgeous town of Certaldo. It’s short but very sweet! Enjoy 🥰💖💋
Yes it was and I hope everyone enjoys coming along with us! We just love our little Italian road trips and exploring new places...don't we my love? xoxox
What a spectacular sunset in Chianni! Thanks for introducing us to yet another hidden gem in Italy. I'm going to put Certaldo on my list to visit someday. I love ceramics.
Thank you so much Cheri! You’re so welcome as we just love sharing new discoveries with anyone interested. We will definitely go back so that we can take an in depth look around … we missed out on so much because of our busy schedule. So glad that you enjoyed it all the same! Hope to see you next time! 🥰🤗💖☀️
Buongiorno buonasera hello Marisa and David I missed the live was at a flamenco evening but I couldn’t wait to watch this fabulous video😍👌Such lovely towns ceramics everywhere the history mixed with modern art places to eat magnificent views you do pick the most stunning places to visit Marisa I can’t wait to see where you put that darling couch it’s just enchanting💖👌Grazie Mille have a fabulous week my darlings alla prossima Amore💖💖😘😘👌👌🌟🌟
Buonasera darling Brenda! We miss you when you’re out … that’s got sure! Flamenco sounds like fun 🤩 We are so happy you enjoy our little trips and we absolutely love sharing them, despite the weather or our lack of time! It’s great discovering places to return to! I’m sitting on our little divano now… it has become a fast favourite and it’s always in the breeze, which helps on these extremely hot summer days! Sending big baci and hugs your way 🥰💖🤗☀️💋
Fascinating as ever. Every turn provides something to look at and admire, steeped in history. Beautiful. As an aside, ever wondered why on your drives you never seem to see animals grazing in fields...? ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it Phil! Yes… Italy is just so full of wonderful history, architecture and nature! Just so much to enjoy! In all honesty, Tuscany had small holdings of cattle, sheep and pig farms for example, but they’re often off the beaten track and you won’t always notice them on a main road. This area is primarily vineyards and orchards/groves so you just don’t see them as much around here. Other areas of Italy are a little more geared towards animal farming. Hope that helps you understand. See you next time and thank you once again 🥰🤗☀️💚
@@talesfromtuscany Thank you as ever. Much of Italy has a zero grazing policy (cheese & ham producing areas). Animals reared indoors. Best wishes to you and David ❤️
The rains have provided lush green landscapes! So beautiful. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. 😊 The towns so pretty and charming. I can’t to visit more of Tuscany in the future.
Glad you enjoyed it Dorina! Yes it was incredibly lush considering we'd had very little rain in ages and it was truly beautiful regardless of the imposing skies. I. truly hope you get to fulfil your travel dreams one day soon. Thank you so much for joining us once again...a presto! xoxox
A lovely little video Marisa, the vineyards and scenery very beautiful. What a find Contaldo was a magnificent place i just loved it there was something very classy and unique about it.The weather didn’t spoil what you achieved ❤
Thank you so much mum! So glad you enjoyed this one and we loved Certaldo too! It was obviously a very special place and still is! Thanks so much for watching 🥰♥️🤗💋🙏🏼☀️
Now home from daughters birthday dinner to relax with you on a beautiful walk through Certaldo. What a big walk uphill. The sunset also so pretty from Chianni. Thankyou again for filming all your videos, just love them all❣️🧡❣️🧡
So glad you enjoyed it dear Celia! Happy Birthday to your daughter and thank you so much for coming home to join us! We always love reading your comments! Sending big hugs Celia! 🥰🤗💖☺️😘
You’re so welcome and we’d love to have you visit us one day in our gorgeous part of Tuscany! It would be such fun! Thank you so much for joining us! Big kisses! 😍🥰♥️💋💋💋
Certaldo is lovely! I’ve never known people to get as lost as you two do with Google Maps! 😂 Couple of Certaldo tips. If you’ve parked in the new town, you can get a funicular up to the old town and back again! Also, there is a carpark just outside one of the old town gates too.
Thanks for the tips Eoin! We will definitely go back and utilise them… it’s definitely worth a better look! The funicular sounds like fun! Actually I use Apple Maps to be fair but they often send us up the garden path 💚🥰😍🤗💋
Certaldo Alto is indeed a wee gem but it isn't totally off the radar because of Boccaccio and the festival Mercantia, etc. By the way, you do know that you can either park at the bottom and get the funicular up or drive right round and up the back to the parking lot? Good to know especially in this heat.. xx
Thank you my sweet! No...we'd never been and knew nothing about it! Just a wee stop on a busy day but next time we will definitely use one of those easier options for certain! We worked off a few extra calories that day, that's for sure! Thank you so much for your very helpful comments. xoxox

why didn’t you take the funicular to certaldo alto?
We had no idea that it existed as we were on a tight schedule to get home and stopped quickly! It wasn’t a planned stop … next time for sure 😃☺️😍
