Clear, concise video showcasing and defining 21st century skills. I really like how you identified the skills, the 4 Cs, and then provided an example of a useful technology tool for each. Brilliant!

Once again, an excellent video. I love the strategic approach to integrating these digital tools meaningfully and how you explain that we need to encourage creativity rather than consumption. Thank-you for the sign-posts.

Thank you for the opportunity to reconsider the 4 Cs as I plan for the upcoming school year. One can become so focused on the technology that we can deviate from our intended goals.

Hi I am not a teacher but Sunday school teacher. I am following your videos and started making lessons. We teach our old language and bible lessons. I started with language lessons, it is really fun making lessons. I made a gif but I need to make a gif with sound, can you please make a video to help making gif with sound. Thank you

Love this discussion of strategy and the 4Cs! I’ve been creating so many edtech tutorials as a way to research and experiment with tools I might want to use in my courses, but my plan is to depend heavily on my LMS course website, Loom videos, and tools that don’t require more than entering in a code for students (like Kahoot and Mentimeter).

That sounds like a great plan! I'd keep it as simple as possible in the beginning and slowly build out as you go!

Hi Samuel - I have an emergency request : as of august 3, I'll be teaching french as a second language. One of the very good approach for beginner intermediates is listening to audio/video with perfect transcription, so I intend to prepare a lot of this kind of material. How do you make those transcripts on you videos, with possibility to hide them ?

Hi, TH-cam has a captioning tool that auto-reads the video and provides it's own transcription. Then you have to go back in and manually create the close-captions, which I do for each video. It's a little tedious, but I know makes the videos more accessible, so it's worth it.
