I come back here with a new video from this summer.
This is one of my videos that I have taken in july this year and it is just normal edited, without music added and whatnot.
I did it this way, so you could understand better what it is like to bale the straw as an old-school romanian farmer.
As you may know, it took me some time to edit and upload a new video on this platform, and that is because I was really busy with work and my other activities that I pretty much needed to take a little break from it.
I hope my upcoming videos won't take that much time to edit and post.

There are people who think my work in here is worthless, but I want to prove them wrong.

Are you running at 540 PTO speed ? Sounds a little slow ??
Hi u really need to get new safty covers on the pto drive shaft on ur baler its very dangerous without them and in most contries illegal too . Hundreds of farm workers are killed or injured by not havin proper saftey eauipment being fitted pls stay safe . I do like ur little fiat tractor i used to have a 650 one myself . Great engines in them . Urs is in brilliant condition hope u and family are safe and havin a nice weekend .
Thank you so much. You are definitely right about the pto safety covers. Whenever the baler has a problem and if it’s something I could fix it myself , I first disengage the pto and stop the baler, so that to avoid unpleasant situations.

Hi Dave . Thank you for the videos . They are very interesting . I am wondering why you don't use a tow-bar on the tractor when bailing. Doesn't the lift go down and cause the PTO to get stuck

TheBigBoy Hello. We bought this baler 10 years ago. Throughout these years we encountered some types of problems with it.
Eg: The baler would sometimes stop tying knots, or it cannot cut the twine properly, and once one of the metal arms from the rear side got bent.
But all of the above issues were fixed and even to this day, the baler works great. No complaints whatsoever. Though I advice you to pay attention at some things: Check out if the plunger is in good condition (make sure it doesn’t have play) because that part will save you thousands of dollars. Then be attentive to how many greasable pins you find, as is extremely important to keep it greasy whenever it’s operating. Look at the chains, belts. I am so happy to work with our John Deere baler, because I am able to do my job easily, without many complications, and get things done. It does have flaws, but also it has its strong points as well. And, the number of bales that I have made all summer it’s honestly around a few thousands. More or less.
