I've mostly learn this song by ear..cause tabs are not really good, surely there are some mistakes but... i dit as i feel :p

You are making the verse riff way harder than it needs to be.
try just putting an E minor chord on then moving the whole shape down one fret, thats the way i play it anyway :)
