Speaking of loving a new set-up, I found that watching MrT from the beginning really effected a change in my own set-up. It started simple, with my noticeably increased use of blue kitchen paper towels (too many, like MrT), but it recently progressed in a profound way for me. I live alone and cook for one or two people -- not huge amounts. I don't really need a four burner stovetop, and I don't boil much, so at most I'd use one burner. I wish I had a flattop grill like MrT because I'd make more interesting things more quickly. So why don't I have one? I bought one of those boards custom sized to cover all four burners of my cooktop, and I put it on the stove, like a new counter space, and I invested a nice, big, electric flat-top griddle. Big enough for all my needs, covers both front burners and a bit of the rear, too. I keep a squirt bottle of water, a squirt bottle of oil, and I cook most of my grilled meals like chef T! I even got a metal bowl with a knob to cover up items on the grills to speed up melting cheese, etc. I spray it with water and wipe it down with blue towels when I'm done. Fast. I invested in a good electric hot-pot deep skillet / pan for those items I DO need depth, or boiling, or sauces/gravies, etc. The end result is I cook for myself and my boyfriend FAR more often, with less reliance on convenience, frozen, or microwaved meals. I always had and used my pressure cooker for soups and stews, so this grill set-up really just replaced my 4-burners with more flat grill space. It's a massive improvement in my weekly meal prep, and the enjoyment of my home-cooked meals. Thank you Chef Tibor, for the visual inspiration and a year's worth of watching you tutor me in using a flat top grill. My kitchen is totally different, and more efficient, because I was influenced by a Hungarian Chef, living in the UK, running an employee canteen, making a lot of ethnic inspired but always slightly-made-up recipes. You can't make this kind of story up! 🧑🍳 (PS Hello from the Tahoe National Forest!)
I love the videos and watching you fly with the orders. I love when you make scrambled eggs. I can't help, but notice the difference with USA. I don't think I've ever seen anyone eat beans and stewed tomatoes for breakfast. I hate tomatoes, so maybe I'm not a good judge of that. Are the beans actually baked or are they just canned? Maybe baked and then canned. I guess that's a possibility. That baggette you made with the feta cheese looked amazing though. So good! I also notice whenever you have cleaning supplies table with food. You'd get a big ding from the restaurant health inspector here for that.
You seem like you're able to be very much more efficient and effective while cooking! Anytime you can reduce stress in a kitchen environment, it's worth its weight in gold.
Morning mate you alrite? Good good, can I get beans on toast with eggs please? Yeah 2 slices mate cheers. Uhhh let's do scrambled. Yeah lots of butter proper smother it on, I need me energy today mate HAHAhehe. Yeah if you don't mind let's 'av a bit of extra mushrooms thank you. Oh an add a sausage. No cheers mate that's all. Thank you very much mate, enjoy yer day ta mate.
So just a thought, why not chop up the fresh mushrooms ahead of time when making omelets? You always chop them on the grill and they splash everywhere. You could save some time having them properly chopped ahead of time
Not trying to be nosey or anything. But what kind of establishment do you work at? It kinda looks like an airport kinda place, plus with all the people getting food wearing hi-vis vests, it seems like airport workers that are putting luggage on. Again, I'm more than likely wrong. Just curious. Absolutely love the vids. I've been trying to become a chef, but sometimes, the stress gets too much. Been a meat cutter and fish monger for the past 5 years. And enjoying every bit of it, minus some idiot customers lol. I'm sure everyone deals with them, though lol
I keep cringing every time people stick their hands under the hot lamps to point at what they want. You eventually going to get screens for those areas?
@@dodosman9301 Yes I know, but you never know when someone reaches in close and touches it by accident or reflexes because of the heat lamps or sneeze or any number of things that could cause them to touch the food. Maybe that's just a paranoia I've developed having worked in the food industry for so long. People are people.
Hey Tibor. Just wondering, did you have any input as to what they were doing to the kitchen? Or was it more like "this is what we're doing, and we'll take your concerns into consideration"
love your videos. But can you please be more clear with the utensils you use for meat and others foods, especially the stuff that is halal. Dont use the same utensil for bacon as for other products and please dont offer eggs to customers if bacon is going to be cooked in the same place. Too much cross contamination in your videos, and what is halal in first instance, is not halal if bacon / non halal products is contaminated with halal stuff
A whole 2 hours of relaxation 😊
being spoilt

MrT I enjoy watching this channel more. Your interactions with customers are my favourite part!
Pancakes and waffles and fresh toast with butter and syrup needs to be on the menu at all times
I recall the customer area having a self serve toaster with sliced bread, butter and jams

1 more question. Is the butter salted or not salted??
Unsalted 👌😀👍
Did they ever fix the cooling issue on that standalone island?
Coming in the next video! 👌😊👍
“I’m not Halal I’m Haram” 😂
That was epic!
Yessss. Thank you! ❤
Those two guys shouting at the start sound like the dude from the Mummy
He is so polite and he is so gorgeous. How do I know? Because I’ve seen his reflection in the register. ❤❤❤
6 hash browns guy is a legend. We have seen him before 😂
01:47 Always first clackyclack those tongs to make sure they work properly
So just a thought, why not chop up the fresh mushrooms ahead of time when making omelets? You always chop them on the grill and they splash everywhere. You could save some time having them properly chopped ahead of time

That person who ordered 4 poached eggs on a single toast scares me
Hi chef 👨🍳
59:03 that's not true! You have us. I'm an online friend from Canada 🇨🇦😁
35p for a fried egg, I need to get a job at this place, that's sooooo cheap
It's actually 25p 👌😀👍
@MrT2022 must be heavily subsidised by the company. Fair play to them, id definitely be on the full English everyday on those prices👍
Did this person actually bring their own slices of bread 30:15 🤔🤔🤔
Yes 👌😀👍
1:47 Incredible tongs clacking, I was stunned at how castantets-esque it sounded
2 hours of relaxation
Yes T! 2 Hours!!!
Tibor is already very special 😂

He's the head cook in the employee cafeteria at DHL London Heathrow
Question about the currency. It’s in pounds?? Like 5.00 pounds
Yes, British £ 👌😀👍
mr T can you tell us how this works with DHL? do some employees pay and some not?
When will you post Vietnamese beef stew?
Sorry to add a comment. Would it make sense to have a chart that shows how eggs are presented? It seemed like a customer was unsure, just a comment.
12:25. Egg and onion together. Yuk 🤧
>2h 🤯 YES 👍😁👍
Awesome 2 hrs thank you Mr T😊
Min 17:00 was a bit tense xD
2 hrs of service 😊😊😊
Mr (GOA)T
👋
mrt where are you based
I keep cringing every time people stick their hands under the hot lamps to point at what they want. You eventually going to get screens for those areas?
Why do you cringe?
It should be fine as long as they don't touch the food
@@dodosman9301 Yes I know, but you never know when someone reaches in close and touches it by accident or reflexes because of the heat lamps or sneeze or any number of things that could cause them to touch the food. @@nbranski43 i mean yeah, true
There is not that much food that ordering by telling isn't possible tho
and now everybody know where you work
Yes, I said it many times already 👌😊👍
how do you make money? so cheeeeap
Hey Tibor. Just wondering, did you have any input as to what they were doing to the kitchen? Or was it more like "this is what we're doing, and we'll take your concerns into consideration"
It may not be a personal password, but maybe skip that part when editing the video, Chef.

Whoooo cares 😂😂
Cross contamination, and important for all the muslims he is serving.
Otherwise videos are cool
