Thanks for the very good review Jill. The slot for the phone is exactly there (at 10:42). It fits perfectly with a short USB-C cable. Not sure why this is missed by (almost) all reviews. I've received my V60 PE in May and it's very close to a perfect car for my needs with a family.
@@stevensnow4112Yes that‘s true. Just wanted to point out that there is a dedicated phone slot which works well for me. Personally I don‘t get why bigger phones are so popular nowadays, but that‘s a whole different topic 😊
I'm absolutely furious that they cancelled the V90 in the US market. I have to twist myself into a pretzel to get into or out of a 60-series, so I bought an S90 instead, but I really wish I could have gotten the V90.
Good overall review. At the top of the screen is a blue 2" line. If you pull that down you access more information. As an owner I often forget to look here when I want can't find something.
Just for clarification acrylic is a kind of plastic the gear shifter in the higher end volvo cars are made of crystal made from one of Swedens finest glass manufacturers named Orrefors
I wanted to get a Volvo station wagon several years ago because I liked the boxy shape. I don't like technology and screens in a truck but in this car everything looks good. I really like the body lines and the seats look sporty with side bolsters. Most new cars, especially electric, are too smooth and don't look as good as this wagon. I don't understand the purpose of putting almost no storage under the armrest.
I loved the wagons, then automakers became obsessed with SUVs/CUVs. I got almost as much crap in a HHR as what will fit in a mid-size standard truck bed.
You can configure the trip meter by going to "Options" then "Controls". Now comes the bad part. They don't call it Trip Computer or Trip Meter. I'm not in my car so I don't remember the exact setting, but there is a set of 3 buttons below the "Hybrid, Polestar, Pure,.." buttons. Selecting the third button of the three will display the trip meter and the fuel economy. Resetting it can be done on by pressing the O button on the steering wheel or by pressing the reset button on the wiper lever. The user guide for this car is the worse. One thing I don't like is that I can't figure out how to use cruise control without it being in ACC mode or in Pilot Assist mode. 😞

The slot is fine for my spouses small Apple i phone but is useless for my larger Android .

Hi Jill,
Thanks for sharing.

The shift knob is crystal, not acrylic.

Push the OK button on the steering wheel to see fuel data.
Elegant and beautiful ❤️
I applaud Volvo for bringing a wagon to the US, but I'm guessing they sell less than 5,000 of these this year.
