Hi I have done this integration with normal wigs. I pull strands through the open wefts, and I find it helps the wig look more natural and it also helps it stay in place. I also on some of my wigs with a parting that doesn't look quite right, I pluck it a little, make some holes and pull my own hair through. I've done this for years. Thank you for your videos x
You sound very experienced. I think doing this technique with regular wigs might actually work better. First, the wefts in this were so large...I don't think I have enough hair to cover the wefts. Second, other wigs may have better features for staying on the head.❤️
This integrated wig looked very nice and natural on you but would be way too much trouble to go through for convenience. Plus I don’t have enough hair to pull through that would make a difference. I’m more interested in toppers or easy on/off wigs. Thanks for the warnings about scammers. I’m glad you’ve decided to share wigs on sale. Looking forward to more videos with your mom and sisters. 😊
I have this wig and it takes forever to put my very thin hair through. So much so that you don't want to take it off. The bottom does have tabs to make it tighter. Look around the bottom of the wig which would be where nap of the neck is, and peel it apart (its velcro) I didn't really like it because the hairline looks so fake plus the tracks are very thick and you can see them on top of your head and along the hairline. Hope this helps! I'm very interested to see the toppers from Paula Young. I bought them years ago when they were the only game in town but don't remember which ones I liked and easy to work with. The problem is they don't show you the underside of the topper anywhere. It just says, one comb, and two combs, in the description. If you can do a video on them Id really appreciate it. Plus you would be the only person ever to do so!
Thank you, Karen! I will check for the adjusters again. For me, this is a lot of work for a look that I can achieve by just throwing on a wig in seconds. I will definitely do a video on toppers from Paula Young. Thanks for the idea!❤️
You're adorable, I'm a wig wearer, I own 20, I rely a lot on everyday women giving reviews and not models. I lost my hair to chemotherapy, it never grew back right, I'll never be able to go without a wig, but this integration wig, not too sure, a nice bob wig would look great, without all the trouble. Thank you Frannie.
Awww...thank you!💕I agree. My every day wig is a cute a-line stacked bob (Sunset by Ellen Wille in Light Bernstein Rooted). I love it...and it's easy!❤️
Thanks for the review.I definitely needed something that is cooler due to hot flashes! I decided to go with a longer cut version since my hair is longer in the back. I chose the same color you got. I ordered some wig clips and It Stays roll on from Amazon through your link.
@@FranniesHair I got my wig today the wefts are much smaller than the one you have. My husband and I love how it looks on me. But, I almost sent it back because I wanted one with bangs and the one I got didn't look like it had any. Come to find out I was putting it on backwards. 🤣
A small crochet hook is what is used to do a home frosting kit...I have done it on my own hair and other ladies in my family. It looks pretty good but it also seems to be a lot of trouble... Waiting in anticipation of the wig sales.
Thank you for reviewing this wig. I never heard of integration wig. It wouldn’t work for me, I don’t have enough hair. Would be too much work for me anyways. Can’t wait for your new website for selling wigs. I love your sincere reviews!❤️
Thank you for sharing this and your honest review. I was thinking it wouldn't feel very secure as well. Boy, that color is spot on for you though! I would try a few bobby pins perhaps and some type of hook to grab hair to pull through.... but all in all, seems a lot of work when a full wig could do the trick faster. I do like the appeal of it being cooler, but..... Hmmmm. Interesting to see and learn about though. Thanks!
Hi Frannie - I think the same thing would happen to me if i tried this type of wig. On top of thinning, my hair is soft and fine like baby hair and i have a rather petite head, so the wig would slip off without some way to secure it. I also would not want to fuss so long to get my hair pulled through. Good point someone made about damage to whatever hair we do have, too!
Great ideas to recoup part of what you spend on the wigs. Especially when you are buying so many in different varieties. We wondered what you did with the ones you wouldn't normally wear!!
Someone told me that theirs had ear tabs...I have to go back and look to see if I overlooked them. Still, I would need more security. Thanks for watching, Karen!❤️
I thought it looked GREAT before pulling your hair through and saw NO DIFFERENCE once you finished!! My opinion and observation!! Straight out of the box was a YES, though it seemed a little off from your front hairline, which may have been due to how you put it on initially. 👏🥰
Yes, I think it was off from me trying to pull my hair through. I agree...NO DIFFERENCE...in which case I'd rather just a regular wig with all the added features.💕😁
Looks good on you, but I'm giving it a firm no. Those pictures of models "wearing" those integration wigs with their own hair pulled through look unrealistic and I don't believe it would really do that. I suppose there could be a rare exception, but for most I don't think it would work. Just my own opinion here. I could be wrong. Like some others, just too time consuming and defeating the purpose of tossing on a wig and rushing out the door. Thank you, Frannie, for some great advice, opinions, and subtle warnings! 💕💕💕
Thank you for this review. You are correct, not many reviews about the pull thru toppers. I bought a used one(ebay) and was having a problem pulling my hair thru without much pain...ouch. lol! I was using a wig hook that looks like a crochet hook but still didn't work well. Maybe I need to get one of my bigger crochet hooks😊. The one I bought has 4 wig clips so I can get it to stay in my bio hair but if I don't pull thru I think the openings would be visible. I'm presently looking at topper reviews without pull thru openings and also how to make my own topper out of used wigs. Thank you for all you do for wig wearers. Looking forward to your wig sales.
Lol...I did not find this type of topper to be a good choice for me. I eventually got a regular topper, and now I wear wigs...and love them! I have a pretty large selection of toppers on my website. If you're interested, here is the link: frannieshair.com/ Thank you for watching!💕
Hi, I was a recent victim of one of those SCAM websites. I thought I would be able to get a popular wig for cheap, but I think I have ended up wasting my money. I ordered the wig in January and it is now almost mid March and I have not received it. I wish I had come across your review before I had ordered. Another thing I learned is to always do a search for reviews for that particular website prior to ordering. Had I done that, I would have seen all of the bad reviews and would not have ordered. This was my first time seeing the integration wig, but I would not order one of them. One of the reasons I wear wigs is so that my hair style looks good no matter what the weather is at any given time. With my bio-hair, one good rainy or humid day would completely ruin it. So, for that reason alone, I would not want to be exposing any of my bio-hair by pulling it out. I will be surprised if this wig concept sells well.
I have one (from Paula Young). Description didn't say that it was integration and was listed as a topper. I wasn't aware it didn't have clips until I got it. I contacted their Customer Service and asked how I was supposed to attach it and they told me my hair would hold it down. I sewed 2 clips on the front but I haven't had the patience to work with it.
I had a wig like this many years ago. I can see if you really wanted to blend your hair through a wig to make it look more like your own color, but you can do that with a crochet hook and a regular welted wig. But it seems like a PITA to me. I love just being able to fix my hair in minutes by putting on a regular wig.
Too much trouble, and my arm would go numb trying to go all around, especially the back, lol. I would like to see you try again when you have a sister to pull the hair through for you just to see if it turns out any better. Thanks for the heads up on ordering on line. So many scams out there. 😊
Hi Frannie 👋 This looks good on you either way (straight from box or hair pulled through). It does look like it's sitting too far back, maybe. Perhaps a wig clip or two would keep it in place better; I definitely would need that or sizing straps as I run the Petite side of Average. The bangs look great on you and won't grow too long 😂, but I probably would have used a crochet hook to pull my hair through the wefts.😉👍 Have a Blessed weekend.
Yes...the crochet hook...how did I not think of that.🤦♀️ It was sitting too far back. Someone told me that it does have adjusters...I have to go look at it again. Thanks so much for watching! A blessed weekend to you as well.❤️😘
I've been wondering about these pieces as well, my problem being that I get headaches with any kind of tightness (wig grip, wig cap, wig itself, headbands, sometimes with glasses) around my head. I know...weird huh? I guess I have an extremly sensitive scalp. I think the color is gorgeous and It looks very natural but if it won't stay in place that would be a "NO" for me as well.
Have you tried using 'It Stays' rather than making your wig grip tight? Maybe that would help. I use it in this video: th-cam.com/video/2eaHCx-ebSE/w-d-xo.html
@@FranniesHair That's funny, the nursing staff recommended this to me after I had sclerotherapy for varicose veins---it held the compression stockings in place so I'm sure it would be perfect for wigs!
Before I discovered wig grips I used to do a small pin curl at strategic points to secure the wig with small Bobby pins. It worked very well but I had wigs that, like the one you are trying here, it all matched my bio hair. As for the integrated wig idea, if I wanted to spend this much effort doing my hair, I wouldn’t be buying wigs.
From observation I would carefully use a maybe a crochet hook? Maybe use hair pins to keep it on ones head? Once you've got what you want pulled through and pinned..... Then carefully, style it? I like the wigs that you showed better then this particular one also.
I bought a Jaclyn Smith integration topper and I don't bother with pulling my hair through. My hair shows through the topper and just makes it look thicker. It stays on. I haven't worn it yet on a regular basis because the color is more for Fall, but plan on wearing it in the Fall. Mine stays on my head comfortably. Just for the record, I wear toppers, not wigs, so maybe this is better for topper wearers.
Thank you for reviewing this integration wig. It was very informative and answered my questions of this type of wig. I have the same type of hair and style. (Fine and thin) I could be your sister more than your biological sisters 😊
It might...my hair is so thin, it would have to be a small hook, but maybe the hook would grab better than the end of the comb. I'll have to try that...after all, I have no shortage of crochet hooks😂.
I just saw this. I was thinking if you use a G Or H crochet hook it would go much faster. One that has a very rounded end. Plus more control over the amount .of hair you pull. Just a thought
I do Like the Color on you but I can see your point regarding the fit. I would think it would be easier and faster to put on a wig. Regarding scams, a very close family member applied for a job through Indeed for a work from home customer service position. The whole thing was an elaborate scam to get bank info. Just FYI not too trust any website. It's so sad. Luckily the bank recognized it and funds were protected.
Yes, definitely easier to just put on a wig. That is so disgusting! I honestly don't understand how people can live with themselves scamming innocent people.
@@FranniesHair it is disgusting! You have this gal who is trying so hard to better her life, worth through mental health issues that keep her from traditional jobs, and she even checked out the company she was applying to. Now, she feels stupid and humiliated, anxiety now through the roof and has had to spend so much time changing everything to protect herself. I mean they assigned a training supervisor to her and talked to her... So messed up.
That's the dilemma...it costs too much to ship outside the US. I wonder if there are TH-camrs in the UK that do the same. Thanks so much for watching!💕
@@FranniesHair thanks, postage is a killer, plus Customs! I love your videos and if I like one of the wigs I can look for it here. Keep up the good work
Hmmm. This is something that I was wondering was possible. Does seem like a lot of work but yet could give a more natural look. I m 50/50 with pro and cons. Are you going to explore this further with how to keep it securely on? More natural..positive..for more hair effect..good grief..there's too much density in 90 % of wigs as it is. On the fence with this one. Thank you Your awesome
Thank you, Wanda! I am...I'm going to try using a different tool to pull my hair through (I got a lot of ideas from everyone), and I'm going to see if there is a way to secure it better. I will do an update.❤️
I think if you had more hair to pull through you probably wouldn’t need a wig! I could see the edge of the wig at the front, so it would need more pulled through towards the front of the wig to hide that. It does seem awkward and slow, and insecure. It’s a fab match with your bio hair though and the style is very attractive on you. I’d def have to sew some snap clips to secure it. I don’t have one of these and I’ve never thought about trying one. I have seen another video done by an admin of an outreach group who had all sorts of trouble demonstrating it to us. Way too much trouble.
Omg….I love you. Really. I was waiting for another wig video from you. Integrated wig? Sounds weird. I think I told you I ordered a Tony Brattin wig for about $90 about a year ago. Way too big..and it’s an average size. They were only offering average and large. I think I’m a average petite or a petite. You replied to my last comment about low density wigs. I’m not sure I could do a topper. That’s kind of where my hair is thinning. On top. And little bit on upper sides. Thankfully, no one notices but me. Again,.I’m soon to be 75 yrs old. Life was tough, for me, but I survived and helped my family and many animals. Never remarried. Only child..so I’m never lonely…with my 2 cats. 😊 If I got a low density lace front wig….in my size..do you think it’d be cooler in summer? Not sure about pulling my hair through an integrated wig..but you look great. But no strap adjustments? Everyone of my kids and grandkids have bigger heads than me. But I do look normal. 😉. Somewhat I think. My grandkids say so. They’re all grown up. And now I’m a great nana to 2 baby twin girls..and 1 baby boy. Both grandsons wives had babies 1 week apart. Omg. They are gorgeous. 🥰❤️❤️💙 Sorry…I digress. I need to buy a wig comb. Don’t have one. Special kind? Frannie…I wish you could pick out a wig for me…but I know I need to do this myself so I will check out your Amazon store and wait for your website. I think I’ll send you an email. You’re so helpful and put forth so much effort to explain about and review these wigs. And I appreciate it. Truly.🙏🏻 I’ll be 75 April 26th. I would love to have a cool, golden blonde something by then. Not too long. Not too short. But long enough to wear up maybe. Thank you again. Hugs to you. And your sisters and mom. 💕💕💕
I found Toni Brattin to run a little bigger. Do you know the circumference of your head? A topper may work for you. It's designed to cover the hair loss on top and upper sides, then it integrates with the rest of your hair. I don't know how much hair you have further down. Toppers are the coolest option in general. Low density wigs would definitely be cooler than higher density, but I don't know if it would be cool enough for you...everyone is different. I'm always cold, so I rarely feel that my wigs are too hot. We had the same thing...I have 2 new grandsons born 8 days apart. Congratulations on your great grandsons...so precious!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Wishing you a wonderful 75th birthday! I'll pass on your hugs.😘❤️

It might...my hair is so thin, it would have to be a small hook, but maybe the hook would grab better than the end of the comb. I'll have to try that...after all, I have no shortage of crochet hooks😂.
I agree. It’s too much work for what I would get from it. It does look nice, but ………. I would love to purchase some wigs from you. I am a wig-aholic.
@@lindahays1157 I am too.😂😂😂
I've not use the integration wig but I used to use a crochet hook to do frosted hair. Aarger 'k' size might bring more hair through@@
Great tip! Thank you for watching, Dot!💕
Frannie, how about using a large plastic crochet hook?
Yes...why didn't I think of that at the time🤦♀️😂
Use a crochet hook to pull hair through the integration topper.
Yes, you would think I would have thought of that...lol!😂
I just saw this. I was thinking if you use a G Or H crochet hook it would go much faster. One that has a very rounded end. Plus more control over the amount .of hair you pull. Just a thought
Good thought! Thank you for watching!💕
Thanks Frannie for the review!
My pleasure, Kathy!❤️
A thick crochet needle would really help to put her through. Thank you for the video. It was very informative.
My pleasure! Great idea. Thanks so much for watching!❤️
Greetings Frannie! I don't know, it looks like a lot of work! Maybe try a crochet hook? Love and blessings ♥️🙏
So many people have suggested a crochet hook...you would think that since I have a crochet channel that I might of thought of that myself...😂🤦♀️
I wonder if you can use a crochet hook to grab bio hair?
Yes, so many people said this...why didn't I think of that?!😂😂😂
Thank you for the review
My pleasure. I was a little bummed that it didn't work better for me.😊💕
Would love to buy one of your wigs but I'm in the UK
That's the dilemma...it costs too much to ship outside the US. I wonder if there are TH-camrs in the UK that do the same. Thanks so much for watching!💕
@@FranniesHair thanks, postage is a killer, plus Customs! I love your videos and if I like one of the wigs I can look for it here. Keep up the good work
I think you would need some bobby pins to secure it. Your hair does look thicker.
Yes...I wonder how well they would hold and how it would look.💕
That pecan wig (#2) made your eyes POP 😮❤
I liked it better before integration color wise. But it is very flattering!
Just subbed. TY
Thank you so much, Athena!😘
Thank you. I do like the color. And I agree, I don't think integrating my hair did anything for me.💕
Lol use a crochet hook to pull the hair through.
You're the second person to suggest this. I'll have to try it!❤️
Thank you
Your awesome
Thank you, Wanda! I am...I'm going to try using a different tool to pull my hair through (I got a lot of ideas from everyone), and I'm going to see if there is a way to secure it better. I will do an update.❤️
Hi Franny😊
Hello!😘
You need to attach a halo wire and velcro
Wow...you sound like you have experience with this. I will look into that...I have never used either. Thanks for the tip!❤️
I would be concerned about damaging my thin hair by pulling it threw and then taking the wig off.
I agree!💕
It looks natural. It would never stay on my head d/t I'm more of a petite cap
It wasn't staying on mine either.😂
Crochet needle? Large?
Yes...can't believe I didn't think of that.🤦♀️ Thanks so much for watching, Cindy!❤️
I agree, Jill...too much trouble. One of the reasons I wear wigs is that it is so fast and easy to have a beautiful hairstyle.😊❤️
@@FranniesHair yep!!
This reminds me old the old days of having your hair frosted and going through so much time and hair pulling to accomplish anything.
I remember that! I ‘m old😂🤣😂.
pull out enough to cover the wefts
If I have enough...lol.😂
Getting ready for work would add more time
Definitely...and I wear wigs to make things easier! Thanks so much for watching!❤️
It hardly seems worth the effort. It looked better when you first put it on. And I wonder if pulling fine and thin hair would damage the hair.
Good point...about possibly damaging hair. I agree...not worth the effort, at least in my case. Thank you for watching, Heather!❤️
It’s definitely more work than necessary because with a wig all you do is put it on and VOILA!
@@pamsfiberfrenzy Exactly!
I think that all that extra defeats the purpose of wearing a wig.🤷🏻♀️
Agreed! The beauty of a wig is that you can just throw it on and your hair looks great.💕
Wow too much trouble for me
Me too!❤️
Use a crochet hook
Yes...many people suggested that...how did I not think of that😂😂😂
What a faff doing that every morning. I would never be on time for work 😀
🤣🤣🤣So true!
Use hair clips on wig sew them on
Yes, that would be a good solution. Thanks so much for watching!❤️
@@FranniesHair love your wigs
@@imataylor8538 Thank you!😘
It would be cooler
True!
If I got a low density lace front wig….in my size..do you think it’d be cooler in summer? Not sure about pulling my hair through an integrated wig..but you look great. But no strap adjustments? Everyone of my kids and grandkids have bigger heads than me. But I do look normal. 😉. Somewhat I think. My grandkids say so. They’re all grown up. And now I’m a great nana to 2 baby twin girls..and 1 baby boy. Both grandsons wives had babies 1 week apart. Omg. They are gorgeous. 🥰❤️❤️💙
Sorry…I digress.
Truly.🙏🏻
I’ll be 75 April 26th.
Many imposters out there
Yes...unfortunately!
This method looks like a pain in the neck.
Agreed!💕
looks too time consuming
