Hindustan motor vehicles we know as muscle car. Till the end of the Amby they changed everything except the body shell looked the same for almost 50 yrs. Amby was the king of the road. The biggest problem was they did not change their car design as time passed by n other car manufacturers were giving their cars a modernised look where HM was still stuck like an old lady. But yes today too a lot of Ambassador cars r still running in Kolkata n Chennai Pondicherry was happy to the old Anby still running.
Hind Motors should follow the idea of Force motors. They can make a Joint Venture with Japanese firms such as Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Subaru, mazda, Toyota, Hino, UD trucks , Daihatsu, etc and take the responsibility of producing their vehicles and various automobile components, drivetrains, powertrains etc. This way they can bring cool Japanese cars with price reduction to the market and at the same time ensure make in India. Also they must setup R&D centers and bring innovation to live.
HM is not thinking about new modification . If HM provide good service and spare parts availablity,on road assistance.The design of the Trekker , Rtr, Ambassador,is very bad.Iam sure that HM can be come the premier level in automotive.Make the Rtr , Trekker ect .To 4x4 will be make good result

what kind of company is this.... workers are working with heavy machines without helmets goggles and safety sleeves. The workers in such automotive factory are supposed to wear full sleeves uniforms with safety helmets gloves and goggles. Now we know why HM went bankrupt.
Who told you that Hindustan motors is bankrupt ?? It is not . to avoid bankruptcy they discontinued the iconic ambassador . Kolkata plant is shut down . chennai plant is still operational. Service centres & offices are still open . HM is currently clearing their debts.
