    Kohlrabi belongs to the Brassica family, like cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, radish, turnip, and others. Its variety is Brassica oleracea var. gongylodes, and it is also known as German turnip or turnip cabbage.
    Kohlrabi should not be kept at room temperature because it will spoil more quickly.
    Ideally, as soon as you return from the market, place raw kohlrabi in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. It will last up to five days without going bad.
    If the kohlrabi is cooked, do not leave it at room temperature for more than two hours, as the risk of bacterial growth is high, which can be dangerous. Place it in a plastic container with a lid and refrigerate it. Cooked kohlrabi will last up to five days in the refrigerator.
