Boyz to Men were not manufactured either, they kept singing R&B even when rap was becoming a runaway train and everyone was jumping on the bandwagon and letting rap kill R&B. They stayed true to their roots.

Can we stop, just stop being demeaning and negative and spewing ugliness and hatred into people's lives and careers? @JazzyBird199 you know it's funny, but MJ loved Shawn's voice the most... he even worked with Shawn apart from the other Boyz II Men on his project. I like Shawn the most too, but his voice usually isn't the best live! Wanya has the best live voice of the whole crew.
Just stinks the Harmonies are there, But it just lacks that Powerful BASS without Mike , they Are not Complete,, He completed the Awesome full range of the Group from High tenor to Bass, they are good, but without him they arent great :)
