- Kodachadri is the one of the Famous Treks in Western Ghats of Karnataka.It is located at a distance of 80 kms from Shimoga, 21 kms from Kollur and 15 km from Nagodi village.
It is 13th Highest Peak in Karnataka and Ideal for 2 Day trekking, One who wishes to reach Top of kodachadri without trekking can opt for Jeep Ride

The kodachadri guest house at the top is no more operating is what I got to know. You can still go to Peak and try. But I don't have any contact number of the guest house.

Thank you for subscribing.Yes you can take your private vehicle till the base. You have to find the place for parking. If u have planned to stay in any homestay then you can park your vehicle there.But i think general parking is not available. Parking is kind of concern.

Thank you :) There are plenty of home stays at the base or on the way to hill which are totally safe for staying. Else you can stay at kollur which is close to kodachadri. There are plenty of lodges near kollur temple where you can stay, There is even a Well maintained Govt Lodge as well.
Yes, you can go to hidlumane falls if you go in main route .In fact you can hire a jeep from kodachadri jeep stand which will take you till last house from there its just 10-15 mins walk to falls

Camping at the peak is not allowed. You can carry tents but have to pitch it near to forest guest House only. Any how you can confirm it once with forest officials.

Hi bro, i guess there isn't any fees for trekking. They have fooled you i guess. 2 years back we went for 20 rupees per head as entry. That's it no other charges.
