Good to see something different, glad you have always had a variety of content
Pro-tip: when you buy that first boat upgrade your propeller to the most expensive one. Traveling 5 miles in rough seas at just 6 knots is just brutal lol. Also, in it's current state the game crashes a lot....at the worst possible time. Save and save often. And may God have mercy on your soul if you crash into anything because the boats are EXTREMELY fragile.

Don't upgrade the engine. I Upgraded to the tier 4 engine and even with the best propeller it only goes 6.5 Knotts. I was getting 9.5 out of the Tier 1 engine.

Love playing this game, except for the boat being way too fragile. What's the point in the tire bumpers if they do absolutely nothing to protect the ship from the smallest of bumps? I had a rough 1st go at it! LOL Frustrating!

That "boat with the lines" is a fishing trawler the other one I'm not sure possibly cargo or ferry boat..the blue boat I believe would be a deep sea fishing boat (lobster crab etc)

Just so you know, you have a compass at the top of the screen with objective markers so you don’t have to go into the map.
This is more fun than Death Stranding
That boat is really slow that is a warning, so get it upgraded

Think you need to try and bind a wheel and throttle to this. Seems like it would be far easier if you could treat it more like a normal boat.
You should check out fishing North Atlantic if you haven’t. It’s made by the same people and fully fleshed out. It doesn’t have some of the stuff this game does but it’s got a lot of quality of life stuff.

They reset every time you load back in... not worth the hassle to keep changing. Hopefully they patch it soon!

Also. For fishing. Don’t do net first lmao. Wasn’t thinking and you need the right boat to do that. Boat for the longline is way cheaper

I think with picking up trash, you should turn off the engine and stop right next to the trash bags every time. That way you don't have rush and be affraid you're gonna hit something.

This game is going to be legit once they iron out all of the bugs.
So in one mission you got paid 35,000 NOK which converted into USD would be $3,313.12 which is insane for picking up trash and also that means you paid $4,733.03 USD for that boat
