Last Year Merit of Computing Degrees in FAST Islamabad Campus based on FAST-NU Test was around 72% and that based on NTS was between 86% to 88%. So, keep this point in mind moving forward. Best of Luck

Last year closing merit wali Meri video daikho, iss year abhe Merit Final nahi hua
negative marking to 0.25 per wrong mcq ha. Lets say mein 70 marks worth sai attempt karleta oor 30 ka tukka marta to un 30 mein se 6-7 theek ho jaye ge oor baaqi 22-23 ghalat. 22×0.25= 5.5.
So you can see meine 6 marks leke 5.5 katwa liye. Where is the risk in that? Shouldn't we attempt everything then?
FAST myn kafi questions k 5 options hoty hain, if you blindly attempt questions.
You are incorrectly calculating scores.
Let's forget English at the moment because that has 0.33 weight per question but all other Sections have 1 weight per question.
Now suppose you attempt 70 out of 90 and all are correct , so you get 70 marks.
Now for the other 20 questions, you make guess and 15 are wrong and 5 are correct.
So, for 15 wrongly, 15/4 marks which are 3.75 will be subtracted so and since 5 are correct so 5-3.75 = 1.25.
The total score will be 71.25.
BUTTT what is the Guarantee that your 70 out of 70 are correct.
Ager 70 myn 50 thek hue then your total score will be 46.25 which is Tooooo Bad for you.

Important for A Levels ! If A Levels didn't complete, then aggregate will be computed based on 50% O levels Equivalence & 50% NTS or NU Test Score

Yes you are encouraged to attempt all BUT Problem is there are 5 options instead of 4. Ab khud hi soch lo k kia krna hy
My aggregate is 57.65% and my campus preference is Islamabad, Lahore, khi and Program preference is AI, CS, SE, DS, cyber and Robotics. So there is no Chance in above campuses. After merit list announcement, can I get admission automatically in CFD or Peshawar on the basis of my aggregate if it falls in CFD and Peshawar. Or i have to applied for CFD or Peshawar separately?

Bilkul jhoot suna hy apny. Har test different hota hy. Aik din myn 2 sy 3 Tests hoty hain aur sary hi different hoty hain

Essay score cant be added in the aggregate because they are evaluated later and aggregate apki 90% test score ki base per compute hogia ager essay 10% hua tu.

Dear point is first you must has taken additional maths exam and be a result awaiting candidate. 2nd 50% FSC Maths and 20% Basic maths will be given in FAST NU test. NO Biology mcqs. If you haven't appear in Additional Maths exam, so you are not eligible to get into FAST

BSCS Merit for Karachi Campus was 66 based on NU Test while for NAT , it was 86.
Is any passing marks in fast nu test?
No, if you score only 45 out of 100 in Test & your matric & inter aggregate is 50 for example, you can easily get admission in ISB or LHR.
