Cars usually have drains in their body in case water gets in somewhere, but an actual plug is rare. My Miata has very obvious drains once you know where they are, for example.

All the doors has drains, specially older cars, sometimes is a rubber piece, sometimes is just a hole that gets clogged with dirt, I actually had to do this same thing on my parents car after a heavy rain (80’s car)
Yes, I've had dozens of customers bring me their vehicles claiming they have heard water slushing around when they accelerate or stop, window motors have stopped working. Infact first time I seen it was test driving a good friends moms Tahoe, heard it slushing in doors. Had to drill 2 holes in each door and let the water drain.. some vehicles have factory plugs some dont
about the door fluid its a thing in most 4WD's/offroaders its so if water gets in the door when ur going through a river or water you can drain it and it doesn't rust
No offense to them, admittedly they end up looking cool *sometimes*, but why are the most popular cars on tik tok, 86/frs/brz's with like 10k in cosmetic mods and a cold air intake.
3:05 there is no door fluid, It was the water stored in it because it might have rained , and there might have been an opening from where the water must have entered
Not sure if you'll see, kind of a late comment. Most cars have drains at the bottom of their door because its hard to keep water from getting in the door where the window is, but most don't have that plug thing. My mazda has little covers over the drains and one of them got clogged up one time.
alot of older cars have door draines in caese where the window seals go bad all tho not at of them have rubber grommets my kadett from 77 just have 6 holes in each door along the bottom
So, those rubber plug in the doors They came (mostly) from anty rust oiling for car (people frome sweet hot place like california won't have a clue i guess ) bu basicaly to prevent rust in ruff winters we pierce doors and other body panel to rince everything with a preventive oil then to prevent trouble from the hole they plug it with rubber Most car should have a small hole that act as a drain (because of windows rubbers that migth dry and such) and when those small drain get clog you door migth fill up with water and you'll hear a slushing sound while closing it
The door drain thing is mainly Canadian or in countries that it snows. We have to rust proof the cars so they drill holes in the doors of a car then they plug it so yes this is an actually thing but might just be canada
Like.... The Maserati one... Wasn't that an RTR spec Mustang? It at least has the RTR lights... But if it was an RTR spec.... Hate to say it, bro, but that's worth more than your Maserati. And it's value holds better. In 5 years, I'll be able to buy that Maserati for 10k.

2:27 that’s real, that’s literally what those plugs are for if you end up having a bad seal and it rains you pull those out to get rid of the water.

Almost all cars have them at least in Canada, she had to pull up the rubber to get to them. 3 drain holes on each door, 3 on trunk.

about the door fluid its a thing in most 4WD's/offroaders its so if water gets in the door when ur going through a river or water you can drain it and it doesn't rust
