Yeah cuz they literally got rid of everything including the stage/animatronics , tickets, tokens, and play area. Just like mcdonalds got rid of their iconic mascots and play area
@@stabbz6479 I went there yesterdays for my nephews birthday and it doesn't feel the same to me. I haven't been there in years so I thought maybe I am growing out of it but i'm only 18 and they did change alot of stuff.

Dude going here back in the early 2000’s was the equivalent of saying “oh yeah we’re going to Disney btw” it was SO FUN. I loved every second of going there
It’s not how far away that hurts me. It’s how I miss that things were like that. How I miss the innocent fun. How I miss my old life. When I was happy. When I was youthful. When I had friends. Before the world took over and evil was around us. The entry into adulthood hits hard when everything before was so simple an bliss.

@Insta_ChiLL360Honestly, the tokens are the greatest loss in the newer format. The credit card thing they have now is nothing compared to the raw power children felt when holding a CEC cup, heavy with the weight of tokens. Such wonderful memories from many years ago...

All in favor of Chuck E. Cheese having “retro locations” where they make these locations just like the old Chuck E Cheese Pizza Time Theaters with the animatronics and ball pits and slides and old school video games. That would be amazing

Dude this just reawakened SO MANY MEMORIES. I completely forgot about the hand-stamps, I always found them so cool to get and look at, the stepping spiders game and the bee catching game was my FAVORITE! I was so sad when I couldnt find it at the Chuck E. Cheeses near me. I used to spend so many tokens on that game. And the jungle gyms were amazing.. I remember smiling and banging on the glass to wave at my parents from above near the ceiling. I loved the feel of being above everything and everyone else, and I loved pretending I was driving cars in the extensions they placed in. I wish they didnt change this. This was the best version of Chuck E. Cheese. Much better than the CGI Chuck E. Cheese.

Ugh, god looking at these pictures brings back so many memories. I miss the 2000s so much, I may have been a kid but I was so glad to have lived in such a beautiful decade. No tiktok, technology didn't get in the way of real life since social media was still in it's infancy, nintendo was the hottest thing and I played the hell out of pokemon platinum and soul silver and how can I ever forget the golden age of nickelodeon and cartoon network? Take me back, just take me back... T_T

My sister has one token still. Those are from the Golden Age of CEC

Yes when years were actually fun, Ugh I can feel my childhood crying for Chuck E cheese to come back 😭 worlds definition of out with the old, in with the new. I feel so old and sad to see them all go but I'm truly glad to experience them in my childhood, I remember going there for my birthday there untill I turned 12 years old, my 12th bday was my last with Chuck E cheese's and I'd say it was worth a visit with all my bdays there lol yes my mom was very annoyed when I told her where I want my bday at but we were all happy and enjoyed the fun

I remember as a kid where my family used to go to Chuck e Cheese as me or my sisters birthday. And i remind the play area (in the first clip) and the tokens that we get from the machine up front. The stamp is one too as well, i remember those.. i missed it when they removed the play area. The token and stap is still there, but it's never the same..
The things I missed were the coins, the bee arcade, the car picture taker, the ice cream machine, and the old pizza
