Haha. It upsets you? Maybe tennis is more your speed. Are you under 30? You would have been really upset in the 90s at 3 Rivers Stadium. Go to a Browns home game in Steelers colors. You'll get abused.
@misterwirez7731 it depends I've been to games in Philly where guys are with their family, like little kids 7 or 8 years old and they're screaming things at them that I rarely hear in a locker room at work.
thank you for adding closed captions to the video. I'm Brazilian, so it's not that easy for me to catch 100% of what you're saying, and the captions help me a lot! Steeler fan here - LOVE the video, and I happily subscribed! It sucks that people were that rude... I've seen it first hand, and it's uncalled for. The Ravens are the only other team in our division worth respect, and even those other 2 goobers don't deserve being treated like that. Totaly fair review. I can't wait to see more!
No touchdowns is hard to get the fans into the game. You need a Yinzer guide next time. Don’t take the drunk idiots that were cussing you out as an example of all Steelers fans.
Hi I hope to meet you when I get out there here's a deal though one good thing I can say about the Ravens that they are a hard-working hard fighting team and I will always respect them for that
I’ve been a Steelers fan since the 70s. I remember drawing Steelers helmets in class at school and I had a Steelers book bag, jacket, Bradshaw jersey and football. That said, I don’t hate the Ravens at all, or any team in our division. Now if you want to talk about the Pats, Jags or Packers, that’s different. I don’t hate them but I do kind of enjoy seeing them lose 😅
Your video was interesting to watch, I think you gave a fair review. I personally admire other fans and live in Bills country as a Steelers fan so I can relate to feeling like an outsider which is fine by me. Great game and good luck the rest of the way!
You didn’t get a Primantis sandwich while you were there. It’s the best thing to eat in Pittsburgh. You also don’t know how to tailgate. You really should have asked me first and I would have given you guidance. As a Steelers fan, I will say that I live and respect the rivalry. It’s the best week of the schedule.
I did get it after the game at their restaurant and it was awesome to be fair. I didn't see it in the stadium, ill make sure to reach out to more Steelers fans for advice. I asked on Twitter and no one answered!! Thank you so much for the support.
Good assessment of the tailgate situation. Because the stadium is in the city, parking is spread out into dozens of small lots. Tailgating ends up taking on the personality of the city itself with the small neighborhoods everywhere. Most people go to the same spots with a group of friends or regulars and tailgate together in those little parking lots. It’s what people do so we don’t have these elaborate areas some other stadiums might have.
Serious question for mavrik. What do you mean by elaborate tailgating at other stadiums? I have been tail gating at Steelers games for 40 years. I only know Pittsburgh tailgating (people park in stadium lots and throw parties out of the back of their car, near their tail gate). Thanks.😀
@@scottdougherty2303 As you indicate above the basics of tailgating are the same everywhere in the US. However each stadium, fandom and location has different “personalities”. Some stadiums have designated areas for tailgating, some have these massive parking lots that are one giant party, some have these elaborate “fan zones” where you can “tailgate”. Some have services where you can rent everything you need and they set it up and tear it down for you. Pittsburgh isn’t totally unique but our many small lots just make it a different experience than at some of the other places.
I'm a Steelers fan and hate the ravens but agree about respect to each other. It's just a game at the end of the day. I've been to a couple stadiums and never had an issue but I've heard Pitt is a tough place for a division rival.
Agree with you on the potato patch fries. As a Pittsburgh native, I never thought they were all that. For a city that loves its fries, I can assure you there are hundreds of other places who can do it very well.
I’m from Pittsburgh and I am sorry for your experience. All in all we are very thankful that. Banter is always expected and when I go to other stadiums I usually get the banter but not total disrespect. Except Cleveland
I lived in Atlanta 40 years, grew up in Beaver County. I have attended hundreds of Falcons games. Atlanta really has a small Fanbase almost every team that visits has at least 25% of the fans. When the Steelers visit over 50% are Steeler fans! We have the largest nfl Fanbase in the entire nation! That’s what happens when you have six Super Bowls, and the best winning percentage in the NFL over the past 50 years! Baltimore is the team that always could, but rarely do!
There are parking lots directly next to the stadium, but the stadium is NOT an island in a vast sea of parking lots. That's not how you build a livable, walkable, drinkable city. There are plenty of other parking spaces dahntahn or a few blocks away. And you can take the T - Pittsburgh's subway system - to the Stadium from town. Using the same spaces that commuters use during the week is good planning and smart of use land. That way, you can have an actual neighborhood - with restaurants, bars, hotels, businesses and museums within easy walking distance of Pittsburgh's two terrific stadiums.
As a longtime Steelers fan, most of our fans are generally respectful. But, sorry you had to deal with some of the ones who weren’t. And I can appreciate your bravery in coming to the Burgh for a game of this magnitude. This rivalry has been very intense ever since the late ‘ 90s. And I don’t see that changing anytime in the near future 😆.
Just subscribed! Appreciate your take on the city of Pittsburgh! I agree there is no need for ignorance....but Baltimore is our biggest rival, you have to take that into consideration. I have been a Steelers fan all my life and we are diehard fans! Yes, at every stadium fans get drunk and some get out of control but we are a Great city and I hope you will come back to visit. Thank you for your honesty. 😊😊😊
@ in all honestly it’s one of the greatest rivalries in football, there will always be a respect between both teams. seeing that we are usually the teams who come out on top of it every season🤝🏼
Steelers fan here. Loved your video. I think you might’ve been a little harsh on the fries. But then again some fans were pretty harsh to you. I wish that didn’t happen. Anyway, loved your video and you have a new Steelers subscriber to your channel.
I am a Steelers fan and I once went to a game against the ravens in 3 rivers stadium. I almost got into a fight with other Steelers fans because they were drunk and wouldn’t stop harassing a 10 year old kid who was wearing a Cleveland browns jacket! (Might have been year 2 after Modell moved them!)I was disgusted by their behavior! Grown men yelling at a small boy, and am glad I said something!
As a Steelers fan, I'll say you all have had over the years some really great players both in the past and now, and I like the style of football the Ravens play. And it's an incredible rivalry.
AFCN tip....go to Cincinnati. Those guys do it right. Im a Steeler fan, but we went to the Bengals/Raiders playoff game a few years ago just for something to do...and we had a blast. The comment about not standing up....I never realized how unusual Pittsburgh is until that Bengals game. We stood the entire time and it was great. First and foremost, it kept up warm, but more than that, it created a great and interactive and engaging atmosphere. Outside the stadium, it is set up just like Pittsburgh with the baseball stadium and FB stadium at opposite ends. But in Cincy, they close the entire road in between and it's a giant street party. Imagine all of the bars on North Shore Drive with no traffic and each bar setting up a beer station out in the street. Great time. Highly recommend.
Yinzer living in Baltimore here. The Jags who were being rude were probably out of towner fans, but there are always a few jags no matter what. I've never had potato patch at the stadium, but at Kennywood they're great, and not everything is drowned in old bay like down here. Primanti bros is our local specialty food and there is one in the stadium and they recently opened one in Linthicum by the airport which is tailored towards Baltimore... Field goals probably kept the fans sedated a bit, but also considering its the Ravens tickets prices kept some of the normal crowds at home. Also, the tailgating might have been lacking after Alleghany County shut some of the bigger ones down this week in response to Antonio Brown's Trump tailgate a few weeks back. If you go next year check out the terrible tailgate, it costs like 25 if I remember, but I've heard it's worth it. That being said, the majority of fans here in Baltimore and in Pittsburgh have a mutual respect for one another and anyone who's rude when someone is paying to attend the same event as you is Jagoff. Philadelphia is worse, I promise. Glad your overall experience was good tho, and that we got the dub. Go Steelers!
As a Steeler fan who was born, raised and currently lives in Baltimore, I can tell you from my experience that the worse fans I have come in contact with are Raven fans and the Commanders fans. Rude, rude, rude. The Commanders have the worse stadium in all of football also.
@@The_end_is_near-c8j I've heard about the Eagles fans brutality, but I've never been to their Stadium. And, as a Steelers Fan, I don't plan to visit the Eagles' Stadium.🤣
Acrisure capacity is 68,000 and has an open end. It's hard to keep noise in. Fans have to be A LOT louder than in other stadiums to match the same db level.
Tequilla Cowboy is okay. Living in Pittsburgh and going to a game that is a quick stop. They have decent food. Pittsburgh knows how to tailgate. You pay to park or meet up with friends and it is a blast. But I agree, if you are from out of town you are better off going to the bars near the stadium. Most of the lots are presold to season ticket holders also. As a Pittsburgh fan, I agree with your thoughts on the way some of the fans act. Honestly they need to be classy. They let the booze talk. More power to you for going in Ravens gear.
Steelers fan here, and I want to thank you for your honest opinions. Just a couple of things: 1) Food: There is a Papa Duke's Gyros, a Pierogi House and a small stand of Primanti Brothers in Acrisure, but they are not easy to find, so I am not surprised you didn't know about them. 2) Fans: I'm sorry you had more rude fans than usual. Just consider the difference in just one year, though. Last year, the home ravens game was in week 5, we were 2-2 & nobody was excited about our offense. The ravens were an OT away from being undefeated, already had two division wins, and were clearly the better team. That tends to cut down on the rowdy factor. This year? This was the FIRST divisional game (thanks, Roger, you jackwagon), AND at home AND we were in first place with this being an absolute MUST win if we want to win the division. Everybody I knew was geeked up for this one. Just want to say, we may hate the ravens, but the majority of us also respect them.
I gotta say you are 100% correct about the food. Very disappointing. I am however very surprised at the fans reaction. I've done a lot of bantering with Ravens fans but, it's always in good fun. And years ago I remember walking up to a tailgate and asking for some of the food or trading and it was always accepted. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. Things have definitely changed.
Sorry to hear you got so much flak. Pittsburgh generally has more Midwest manners than east coast. The football games are the main exception with there is so much drinking that people can get rude when otherwise they wouldn’t. It’s nothing like NY or Philly but I still don’t like the unnecessary aggressiveness.
Born and raise Pittsburgh here. On your point about the fan noise and excitement: I agree wi5 it not being loud or what you would expect from Steelers fans. Over the years the season ticket holders have left town and re sale most of not all their tickets. That brings in a lot of fair weather fans, people there just as a social event and business men with clients. The list goes on. Most Pittsburghers, are at home watching on their tv because they can’t afford tickets. It’s sad but I’d bet 75% + are out of towners. My point is the crazy Steelers fans are outside looking in. Something to consider.
Cool segment. Me; Boomer born in B'more, wanted to be Brooks or Johnny U. as a youngin'. Moved to the Burgh in 2nd grade & in Jr. High the Nolls moved in up the street, so grew up w/ Chris, Coach's only kid. Lived thru the O's-Mets, then Pirates series w/ dual loves in the latter (I mean Roberto, c'mon). Then watched people eviscerate coach Noll for drafting "Joe Who?" (a literal local headline when he took a Black D-lineman in the 1st round, 'cuz ya just fidget do that back then). Later they burned him in effigy again when he played Brad over local & Notre Dame hero "the other Terry". After the military raised a family of Raven's fans back in B'more, but I've remained a Steeler faithful. All good fun, and usually the best games all year, no matter their records. Just hate that they eff each other up so bad that they're never the same for the rest of that season. Speaking of season, if ya want REAL kielbasa or perogi, B'more ain't it, but in all other things food, B'more is king. Actually, I'd say that's true over every State in the country, and I've been in them all. Texas has their brisket, and NC its pulled pork, but even in Louisiana, I always thought their Cajun needed some Old Bay. Pittsburgh is still an infant on that front. 😊
if you park at Station Square, u can take the Gateway Clipper paddle boats across the Mon and the Allegheny rivers right to the stadium. Just Fyi for parking. The boat rides are interesting. Cool Video and I bleed Black and Gold. Good job.
I second this suggestion! I travel in from the Hershey/Harrisburg area and always park at Station Square. When my kids were younger, we loved to ride across on the Gateway Clipper. Now I'm taking my grandchildren on it. ☺️ Great video, btw. I'm sorry some fans were rude to you two. We may not like the Ravens, but we do respect them, and that should be passed on to Ravens fans! I've always started talking to the opposing teams' fans and joked around with them. It's how I brought my kids up to behave, too. Good luck to you on the rest of the season! We'll probably be seeing each other 2 more times 😉 Go Steelers 🖤💛
You gotta season the fries yourself the seasoning is on the side by the bathroom. Also each floor has different food places. The Potato Patch is on the first floor you shouldve went upstairs there are 3 more floors of different variety
The last season of Memorial stadium I went to the Steelers Ravens game and the Ravens were up 21-0 in the 2nd qtr, 24-7 at the half and Ravens fans were so obnoxious. The Steelers came back and won the game 42-34. Late in the game Kordell Steward ran for a 74yd TD and that’s when it became dangerous as everything you can think of came raining down on our small group. Then came our long exit when we were attacked multiple times and hit with objects as we made are way out. We weren’t doing anything except wearing Steeler jerseys. I have NEVER witnessed Steeler fans treating ANY fans like we were treated in Baltimore. I’ve been to MANY NFL stadiums and have always been treated very nice. Sure you get respectful banter but NEVER violence. This wasn’t just one group of fans, this was practically everyone we encountered leaving the stadium. We didn’t feel safe until we reached our vehicle.
I’m sorry to hear the fans were extra ruthless. I was also at the game Sunday with my dad and brother-in-law and I was talking to a ton of Ravens fans with no issues. Never been to a Steelers-Ravens game in Baltimore so I can’t say it’d go the same or differently. But I have gotten death threats, etc. in Cincy for that infamous 2016 Wild Card game 😂
Potato patch originally started at Kennywood Park. Used to be the most awesome tasting fries ever but in the last couple years, they definitely have gone super downhill.
As a Steelers fan, I was so conflicted the entire video. "F off, our fries are bland, oh but he loves the chicken." 😂😂😂 I hit like and dislike so many times... Leaving on a like tho
@@yapmatt How much did you explore the stadium? I was there for the chargers game earlier in the year and found this amazing sandwich with fresh cut prime rib slices on a croissant bun with amazing sauce. One of the best sandwiches i have ever had. Also saw a lot of non-standard options.

We have Baltimore fans that come up every year at a bar I used to work at. We both talk trash through the whole game but all in good sportsmanship. It's just a game and I feel some fans do go overboard with their rudeness. At the end of the day, win or lose, we still have to go back to work the next day.
Im 55 and steelers fan since 1979. Love the steelers but i dont trash talk at games and certainly dont harass opposing team fans. Its a game and cant control anything about it except cheer like crazy.
You definitely missed out on the stuff you were looking for such as the unique food items and open tailgates. I hope if you decide to do a return that you will let me take you around and I’ll show you the things that you were looking for. until then. Happy travels!
There's nothing better than Steelers pregame. There are tons of tailgates you can get into. If I saw you I would let you in on ours. We are enemies once we walk through those doors, but at the end of the day we are all human beings.
Good review. I like meeting fans from other towns and the trash talk on both sides I take with a grain of salt because that's just what we fans do. Being rude is never acceptable by either side, ever. Ever town as assholes but you just blow them off because they are always the minority. Overall, a fair and fun review. Best to you the rest of the season.

OK as a person who not only grew up in the Pittsburgh area, but also who’s great Aunt was incredible friends with the chief and we used to go to church with him and walk with him all the time. Also, I worked at the stadium as security for the company CSC for years. I will start off by telling you as far as the food goes there is a Primanti Brothers inside of the stadium you should’ve went in there if you wanted Pittsburgh style food. Number two as far as the parking goes, there is a main lot. You must’ve just missed it. There is a main lot next to the stadium. The cheaper lots are the ones on the outskirts. As far as tailgates go, you must’ve went to the wrong people if they’re Fairweather they may not let you join in if they’re hard-core they will 100% let you join in. I have party with multiple other teams fans at tailgates. Lastly, as far as the fans go not being loud and what not it like you pointed out it was a daytime game . also renegade is typically more hyped if it is a primetime game and as far as the fans being the way, they are the new security they have down. There is not up to par after they got rid of the company that I was working for it definitely went downhill, and this is coming from me when I went to games after the fact you need to meet the right people in town man you would had a great time.
Stadium food is meant to be eaten after a quick six-pack or a good buzz ... Seasoned fries? .. Real men eat real fries ... and as far as the game, Pittsburgh OWNS the Ravens
Stadium food is run by a 3rd party concession company which probably is same one for Ravens stadium. People hired to cook concession food are paid low wages w/no skills & don't care.

Also, as a huge Steelers fan, we own you hahaha as we say in Brazil, this rivalry is more like "we're your fathers"
Greetings from Brazil!
You had that silly music playing in your video during RENEGADE, and during that terrible 2 pt conversion.
I would of loved to have a diehard Yinzer with me. I will be back and my goal is to go with a Steelers fan.
Primanti’s sucks. Stop it.
This is a good point. Next time i'd like to go with a Steelers die hard.
BEST RIVALRY
Agree with you on the potato patch fries. As a Pittsburgh native, I never thought they were all that. For a city that loves its fries, I can assure you there are hundreds of other places who can do it very well.
I’m from Pittsburgh and I am sorry for your experience. All in all we are very thankful that. Banter is always expected and when I go to other stadiums I usually get the banter but not total disrespect. Except Cleveland
Pittsburgh fan here,great job Matt!!!!
❤️❤️🫡
Good sport, as a Pittsburgh sports fan its great to see the sportsmanship! 🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛 LOOOOOOL "sure"
Thank you so much for the support! 🫡
As a 30 year Steelers fan I respect the Ravens because they always bring out the best performances of the Steelers.
let’s go steelers💛💛
Go Ravens :(
@ in all honestly it’s one of the greatest rivalries in football, there will always be a respect between both teams. seeing that we are usually the teams who come out on top of it every season🤝🏼
Steelers fan here. Loved your video. I think you might’ve been a little harsh on the fries. But then again some fans were pretty harsh to you. I wish that didn’t happen. Anyway, loved your video and you have a new Steelers subscriber to your channel.
This was the type of game that made me think about life and how there’s more to it than football..
An amazing rivalry, I think it was just brought back after this game.
Best rivalry in the NFL. I don't think we're winning the 2nd game.
THEY DON'T LIKE US AND WE DAMN SURE DON'T LIKE THEM🏈💜🖤🤍🤎
Yinzer living in Baltimore here.
I love this rivalry. One things for sure a ravens fan would agree we have the greatest rivalry in sports!
As a Steeler fan who was born, raised and currently lives in Baltimore, I can tell you from my experience that the worse fans I have come in contact with are Raven fans and the Commanders fans. Rude, rude, rude. The Commanders have the worse stadium in all of football also.
You need to see the eagles play wearing the opponents gear. Total garbage fan base.
@@The_end_is_near-c8j I've heard about the Eagles fans brutality, but I've never been to their Stadium. And, as a Steelers Fan, I don't plan to visit the Eagles' Stadium.🤣
@@73Harbor21 I've had good and bad experiences bud.
WE OWN YOU !!!!!
PITTSBURGH STEELERS WITH A BASEBALL BAT!!!
GREAT VIDEO !!GOOD LUCK WITH THE REST OF YOUR SEASON SEE YA SOON!!!
Thanks so much! They do own us unfortunately
It’s usually louder on primetime, when I was at Steelers giants this year for my first game, it was LOUD
Definitely wasn’t even close to the worse. Jacksonville & Giants were 100X worse
@@yapmatt Hmm would never have guessed Jacksonville would have the most rowdy rude fans lmao!
I’m surprised. I went to a playoff game between our teams in the 2000s and our fans didn’t seem to be heckling.
This soy boy was probably 2 y/o at that time.
I’m conflicted about your video being a Steeler fan but you seem alright for a Raven fan lol 😂
I hate that a lot of people were rude. I have been a Steelers Fan since Birth and I love trash talking but doing it with respect.
As a steelers fan I have great things to say about the ravens. They gift us 2 free wins every year 😊❤
As a Steelers fan, much respect
I subscribed just to let you know Pittsburgh Steeler fans are ok. And I’m a native Californian who suffered in Chicago for the 4 years I lived there.
if you park at Station Square, u can take the Gateway Clipper paddle boats across the Mon and the Allegheny rivers right to the stadium. Just Fyi for parking. The boat rides are interesting. Cool Video and I bleed Black and Gold. Good job.
Thank you so much, I apperciate this a ton. I will be back for sure!
I second this suggestion! I travel in from the Hershey/Harrisburg area and always park at Station Square. When my kids were younger, we loved to ride across on the Gateway Clipper. Now I'm taking my grandchildren on it. ☺️
Great video, btw.
Great video Matt 👍
We welcome everyone here in Pittsburgh ❤️😭🖤💛 hope you enjoyed our city!!
Watching the game on tv. I also thought the Steelers fan want as loud this game.. I’m a Steelers for life
Potato patch originally started at Kennywood Park.
My guy😂😂
@@yapmatt How much did you explore the stadium? I was there for the chargers game earlier in the year and found this amazing sandwich with fresh cut prime rib slices on a croissant bun with amazing sauce. One of the best sandwiches i have ever had. Also saw a lot of non-standard options.
You didn't find good food bc you had that jersey on😂
He says the chicken was Really Good in the moment, but then after the fact says it was just okay… I call BS on the entire video. You can tell he was looking for places to deduct points.
I’d love to do a game recap from a Steelers perspective👏🏾Much love and respect 💯
As a patriots fan going to Pittsburgh its a fun experience for sure! Only been treated with the most respect(Only wore my Gronk jersey not Brady 😂) So far the black and gold is 0-4 when I show up.
Stop sniviling.....you lost.....we won....what do you expect evereith they're hands in pockets saying yay..we won....gimme a friggen break.....STOP WHINING!!!
Exactly
A great review. Sorry to hear you were disrespected by the Pittsburgh fans :(
We have Baltimore fans that come up every year at a bar I used to work at. We both talk trash through the whole game but all in good sportsmanship. It's just a game and I feel some fans do go overboard with their rudeness. At the end of the day, win or lose, we still have to go back to work the next day.
Let's gooooo!
You got balls of steel, I'll give you that.
I'm a Steelers fan so gg see the ravens next time
You should make the Ravens fans say 1 nice thing about the Steelers when they are in Baltimore.
Gotta Try the Primanti Bros in the stadium next time you go, its not just regular stadium food, theres a ton of different spots in acrisure
Steelers fan from London, UK here. Really interested to hear an opponents fans opinion.
Im 55 and steelers fan since 1979. Love the steelers but i dont trash talk at games and certainly dont harass opposing team fans. Its a game and cant control anything about it except cheer like crazy.
"Purple is my grandmother's favorite color" 😂
Have you been to paycor stadium yet? I went for my first time last year week 2 since I moved from MD to OH and I was surprisingly shocked.
You gotta try Primanti Bros if you decide to go to Pittsburgh again. GG’s, we’ll see you in Baltimore next month.
Nice job, Matt!!
Thanks!
@@yapmatt Did you know the Steelers have links to pro wrestling? Chuck Noll while in San Diego coached Ernie Ladd & as Steeler coach had Ernie Holmes on The Steel Curtain who tried wrestling Bruno Sammartino was almost a Steeler. Those are some solid seats- Steelers ravens games are the best in the league. Go Steelers!
a true comment...a nice thing to say about your Ravens..One thing..Ravens were a better team for the last 4 years..thats a compliment..but you still continuously lose against the best sports Team Ever
I'm a Steelers guy living in Fairfax VA. I loved your video. You're a classy guy. I hope you do this again. Also, please introduce your nice wife and let her share the discourse. John Lipnicky. Ex-steel worker for US Steel in McKeesport, PA . Ravens and Steelers -- the best rivalry of all time. Thank you again for your video. John Lipnicky.
You should go undercover at the next match in Baltimore dressed as a Steelers fan. See how well you're treated.
Stadium food is meant to be eaten after a quick six-pack or a good buzz ... Seasoned fries? .. Real men eat real fries ... and as far as the game, Pittsburgh OWNS the Ravens
This is a good point tbh😂 yeah they do own us
I’ve come across something crazy ravens fans who are very disrespectful also.
I agree 100%
"I feel like they will win by 20" 💀
Yeah I wanted to be transparent and show my dumb prediction 😂😂
There’s a free tailgate at stage ae with a live band playing. Totally free you just walk right in. Nice prediction lol
There's a Primanttis Bros in the stadium, a Burgatory in the stadium you went to the general concessions.
Boy, you didn’t look very hard at the tailgates either. I’ve been going to the same one for years and we always grill steaks and ribs plus the extras
You thought you were winning by 20 😭😭😭
Stadium food is run by a 3rd party concession company which probably is same one for Ravens stadium.
People hired to cook concession food are paid low wages w/no skills & don't care.
Dude the tailgate area is behind Tequila Cowboy which is within a block.
