I bought it in the Fierce Pink Leatherlike cover and it’s so beautiful and colorful! I just briefly flipped through it, but I can tell that I’m going to love studying with this Bible. On this channel, I mostly do reviews and talk about how I am using my Bibles and Christian products. I do a lot of Bible study on my own though. I would definitely consider an online Bible study. :-)
I run a small group with young lady’s in recovery they are wanting to start a bible study but we are short 2 bibles and we could really use some bible studies would you have any way of getting these things for us could you point me in a direction to get these things for us
This "Bible" lost me when you said that they put in profiles of contemporary women who weren't even in the Bible! The Word of God is so sacred that it should bother the conscience when extra stuff is added in. My spirit is troubled by this. Sorry, Bethany...don't mean to rant but it's just unbelievable what the publishers are doing these days.
@@hadassah_redeemed - Sure! Hopefully I can help you out by my clarification here. First of all I also have a problem with John MacArthur. For one he says you can take the mark of the beast and still be saved. Here's a short video on that: th-cam.com/video/loQKYbBaZjA/w-d-xo.html Also, he tells wives to stay with their abusive husbands. This bothered one of his assistants so much that MacArthur eventually fired him. Fortunately one of the husbands ended up in prison so she is free from him. Lastly MacArthur is a Calvinist. It basically teaches that Christ only died for the few and not everyone. But the law had to be broken on Earth with the curse. There's no way that Jesus could have broken the law if he only had to die for the few because the law is over the whole earth. He had to fulfill it by dying for the whole world. This is why I tend to stay away from devotional Bibles, even contemporary women's thoughts in them. Most of the theology of these women "pastors" (that shouldn't be pastors in the first place) are way off. King James had it right when he wanted His transcribers to write the Bible without commentary! Please note I'm not saying the King James version is the only way to go, but King James had a good train of thought when he just wanted the Bible without the commentary included. Catholics had the commentary and this is what King James wanted out of the Bible. God bless you and I hope this helps!

@@Karelife you are right! The Thrive also is a devotional Bible, and the Courage for Life has a study prompt for each chapter.
I agree that is a colorful bible. I like the concept but would like a little more depth to the studies.

The NLT is a great translation for a new believer or someone who is questioning.

Devotional bibles do this all the time. So do many study bibles like the MacArthur Study Bible etc. I do t understand your issue with it.
