Hi Nikki! I'm a vet tech. For picky dogs, tough love is the best remedy. You have to be very firm and try your best not to give any people food. Vegetables and fruits are fine (with an exception for toxic ones). Another tip us to feed specific meals instead of leaving the bowl out. Give them 30 min to eat it and pick the bowl up even if they don't eat. Be consistent with it and they will eventually eat the food. They won't usually starve themselves. But be prepared some really stubborn dogs may go a couple of days without eating. Make sure they are drinking water and they should be ok.
@@tianananah I’ve grown up with chihuahuas and we do this and have never had an issue! Twice a day they get fed and they know when it’s their time and will eat what we feed them! And minimize the people food!
Agree w/ Tiana! You could also try low-sodium chicken or beef broth or small amounts of fish oil or bacon grease drizzled over their regular food. You could also take the dogfood into your kitchen, make a big deal of pretending to eat it in front of them, then put it down for them. Silly but it might work to pull a fast one! 😅

I’d love a long form video on how to pair lip liner and lipstick. I enjoyed your holiday lip combo short series but beyond specific shades I’d like to know more about WHY certain liner colors go with certain lipstick colors and what exactly you look for when creating a look. I only recently started wearing lip liner (hello, late 30s). Does the lip liner always have to be darker? How many shades different do they need to be? If the lipstick is cool toned, should the liner also be cool toned, or can you mix warm and cool? I have so many questions lol. 😂 Thanks and happy new year!
This is such a great idea! I only use a lip liner that is the same colour as my lips. Love the depth a different colour lip liner gives to a look so would love help with how to pair them!

I agree about Sydney Grace shadows. They make my absolute perfect transition (Speedway), outer corner (Officer), & olive (Moon Landing & Bravo) mattes. Blondie is my easy lid shimmer, and I rotate through a bunch of the vivid jewel tone mattes & metallics for accents. I have at least 70% of their shades (like potato chips... Can't have just one!), and I find their shade descriptions SO helpful to determine what shades I want!
Hi Nikki, I feed my fur babies Farmers dog. My boy was picky with other foods but ever since I switched them to Farmers dog, he gets excited meal time. My girl loves it too. He was putting on product on the brushes and you Nikki were "oh babe" - and there I realized you Nikki might only be tap tap carefully in the eyeshadow before slowly but surely getting it on your eyes in very tiny layers. I really had a "aha" moment - and today when everyone had left me alone for 10 minutes I took the chance and tried. For the first time ever it worked for me - Thank you so much Mitch, now I understand the process even better, and now I can manage the tiny layers. I was so lucky to get Nikki's brushes for Christmas. I must say they are incredible - makeup is so much easier to apply and to get nicer. A really great liquid exfoliant is the Dermalogica Liquid Peelfoliant. Makes my pores tiny and my skin looks so vibrant and *healthy* the next day. I was impressed even after the first use. I love the little touches that spark joy! I love using fun shadows as a thin liner. Jewel tone blue duochrome? Sure! Emerald green metallic? Absolutely! Jewel tone purple shimmer? Great on my green eyes!
Doggy! 😍 I have a miniature dacshund who has the same issue now that he is a little old man, hehe. He's become very stubborn about his dog food, wanting specific things only. Silly dog, lol. But I do agree with a comment from someone who said they are a vet tech, staying firm on what you want to teach them and the repetition of it will be key. If you vary from that, feeding them from your plate, that will often undo any progress you have made. It's those darn sweet pupper faces that are hard to deny though, so I understand! hehe.

For Mitch's skincare, don't forget about short contact therapy to get used to irritating ingredients. He can start with increments of 10 minutes, wash off, & apply skincare. Gradually increase amount of time & days/week until the skin isn't irritated by leaving the product on overnight. For example, apply tretinoin (even if it's on a dirty face) at the end of the day, wait 10-15 minutes, hop right in the shower, finish with soothing nighttime skincare.
I make a "topper" for my picky Yorkies. I cook up some hamburger with some sweet potatoes or veggies. Add a spoonful to their food and mix it in. Usually does the trick for getting them to eat their food. Cook up enough for the week or put some in the freezer. Love your videos! Thank you so much for what you do!

Tip for getting your small dogs to eat their food: sprinkle some bacon bits (the ones that are just pieces of soy, the “bac-o-bits”) on top and mix it in. The smell makes it smell like human food but doesn’t really add any calories. Works with Kraft Parmesan cheese too. I do this with my old bichon who is a super picky eater and it works every time

For sunscreen I like d'Alba Waterfall SPF50. I've used City slips clear on my lips for years and at 82 myi lips have not thinned significantly and they are moist.

I did microblading and really loved it at first. The technique was good and it lasted a long time. The only problem was that the aesthetician used too dark of a color. I like dark brows but they would look better as a warmer brown color. Mine are like a dark black and they fade to a washed out gray. Any suggestions? Can you “grow out” microblading?

Hi Nikki , I had dogs which I fed the dry mix complete meal type of stuff vitalin i used to make up a small amount of gravy with the bisto gravy granules in a small cup and add it to the dog food that way they got the kinda human food taste but all the goodness of the dog food , hope this helps xxxx

I have two chihuahuas. Bone broth for dogs. I heat it up a little bit so that they can catch then sent and then I pour it over their food. It’s been a game changer for getting my boys to eat

For Mitch's skincare, don't forget about short contact therapy to get used to irritating ingredients. He can start with increments of 10 minutes, wash off, & apply skincare. Gradually increase amount of time & days/week until the skin isn't irritated by leaving the product on overnight. For example, apply tretinoin (even if it's on a dirty face) at the end of the day, wait 10-15 minutes, hop right in the shower, finish with soothing nighttime skincare.
I make a "topper" for my picky Yorkies. I cook up some hamburger with some sweet potatoes or veggies. Add a spoonful to their food and mix it in. Usually does the trick for getting them to eat their food. Cook up enough for the week or put some in the freezer. Love your videos! Thank you so much for what you do!

Tip for getting your small dogs to eat their food: sprinkle some bacon bits (the ones that are just pieces of soy, the “bac-o-bits”) on top and mix it in. The smell makes it smell like human food but doesn’t really add any calories. Works with Kraft Parmesan cheese too. I do this with my old bichon who is a super picky eater and it works every time

For sunscreen I like d'Alba Waterfall SPF50. I've used City slips clear on my lips for years and at 82 myi lips have not thinned significantly and they are moist.

I did microblading and really loved it at first. The technique was good and it lasted a long time. The only problem was that the aesthetician used too dark of a color. I like dark brows but they would look better as a warmer brown color. Mine are like a dark black and they fade to a washed out gray. Any suggestions? Can you “grow out” microblading?

Hi Nikki , I had dogs which I fed the dry mix complete meal type of stuff vitalin i used to make up a small amount of gravy with the bisto gravy granules in a small cup and add it to the dog food that way they got the kinda human food taste but all the goodness of the dog food , hope this helps xxxx

Oooohhhhh I love it! That’s how I feel…life is too short for patchy dry foundation. If it doesn’t do the job it’s fired, but I do give it a chance and I try not to be wasteful.

I will always be a glitter girl on my eyes. I don't care what else I do but glitter or at least a good shimmer is always good for me. And yes highlighter is always on my cheeks. My daughter always teases me (just funny teasing) and says I can replace Rudolph with my face 😂
I have two chihuahuas. Bone broth for dogs. I heat it up a little bit so that they can catch then sent and then I pour it over their food. It’s been a game changer for getting my boys to eat

I have 2 shih tzus too! Fusiest pups ever lol. We eventually started making batch meals from scratch as we were at a loss: fresh beef & lamb with veggies. Seems to be going down well so far. It sounds expensive but as their calorie needs are quite low a little goes a long way 😊
