Every video these guys release is 12am UK time and I gotta watch
force immunity shuts down Warlock, Artillerist, and spiritual weapon. depending on the party make up that could be huge. my Forge domain cleric at level 10 would have a rough time with the Helmed horror.
I have liked and commented! I continue to serve the frightening dungeoncast! Hello again lords of knowledge and laughter! The time of Hallows eve draws ever closer, and as such I prepare to deal with the undead as I do every year. The night of the year when the spirits of the dead roam freely and the corpses of our fallen brethren rise to meet us once again. Luckily we normally don't have to deal with such abominations as helmed horrors and flesh golems. Perhaps any dark magi in these lands either haven't crafted any, or mayhap they've kept such creations hidden away. Either way as long as they don't threaten the people of our cities well coexist with relative peace. Things have been well enough here in the lands of knowledge and laughter, life has returned to semi normality. After the slime outbreak we've struggled greatly, but our cities are back up and running, and people are comfortable with their daily routines once more. It took a few months, but all is well for now. Anyway, for now I bid thee farewell until next week milords. Always awaiting another boon of knowledge, your paladin dorian. *as he finished up his message, an eerie grin was seen coming from the paladins shadow. Halloween draws ever closer*
Another week another episode. I had a funny mental image while watching this. Imagine if you flavor your helmed horror's spell resistance as the spells getting deflected off the horror's body. Now if it's immune to magic missile I imagine since that spell can't miss every time the missile gets deflected it just turns around and continues bouncing off the horror. I don't know why, but that's just funny.

If I was an evil BBEG my lair would be guarded by a helmed horror... with a flameskull inside! (Make him immune to fireball and have the flameskull inside the armor cast fireball centered on itself.) This episode is awesome. I love the annual "Spooktober" lineup.
So Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist is not a warforged as most people have tried to stat him, rather he is a helmed horror with intelligence. He often doesn’t fight with his head and can still see. He just has intelligence instead of the ability to fly.
You could have a Blue Dragon who has multiple flesh golems as guards in his lair. His breath weapon wouldn't only hit the party, but re-charge his backup.

I didn’t think about it until this episode, but it’s extremely funny that to calm down a golem, literally electrocuting it is the easiest way to calm it down.
I could imagine a helmet horror who's instructions are to guard the heir to the house. They seem like they make really good bodyguards
Helmed Horrors sounds a lot like the Substitutiary Locomotion spell from Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Canadian Thanksgiving has already happened and isn't close to American Thanksgiving. Ours is the 2nd Monday in October.

Instead of attacking a blue dragon with flesh golems, maybe a blue dragon contracts a wizard to make a pair. Imagine storming a blue dragin lair and he keeps catching you and the golems in his breath to damage you and heal them.
Alright, here me out, I know it's probably too late for this year's spooktacular, but I'm sure eventually there will be an episode on Bodachs. If and when that might happen, try to read Dean Koontz's "Odd Thomas," it might add some extra flavor and context

Actually they do describe the aliens in the original War of the Worlds book, and in decent detail.
They're described as cephalopod-like and about the size of a bear, and feed by using their tentacles to suck the blood and fluids out of people.
Will doesn't wanna talk about butt machines.
