That "dual-line" to try and get you in the same perspective every time of sort has been done a couple of different ways through the years on putters. Probably one of the more notable ones is the "Slotline" putter which there was a lot of years back. It's design had a cavity behind the impact area with a little "slot" cut out of the top so you can see in the cavity from above which if you move your head so you see the line through the slot it tells you that if you are looking at the putter at the same perspective every time. It's definitely not for everyone, especially those who don't prefer such a systematic way to set up. But it's a nice option for those that do.

Had a go with one of them at the Irish Open this year, really soft feel off it as the Ambassadors mentioned. However the price of them is ridiculous
Knew I could count on the two of you to do a solid review of these!! I saw a couple of reviews, made me wanna go try it, so went into AG and yeah absolutely I had the same problem!! The line was the only thing I couldn't deal with! Why didn't someone say this before you two lol!!!! .... I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this tho ;)
I would argue that the lines on different levels can help certain people when they ARE on a sloped lie, because if you set the putter flat, the shaft will lean forward or backwards as you said, so you can judge the angle lie based on the dispersion levels of the two lines.
Nice looking putters, but i'm happy with my Odessey Versa 1W at the moment.

they look ok which is important but I'm not a nike fan and only use bettinardi putters

Mark, how much stock do you put in the "improved off centered hits" for putters? On drivers and irons, it's obviously great. But on putters, I would think if you're consistently hitting the ball off center, you have a fundamental flaw with your stroke, because it isn't hard to hit the center of the putter. No amount of weight distribution is going to help you. Your thoughts?
youd be very suprised at how little people hit ghe same spot on the putter face...
I know, I'm all over the place with my "ballstrike", esp with long putts.
will help with longer putts (imo) my entire putting practice consists of trying to hit the sweetspot as most golfers dont consistently especially once u get 12ft+ away

I have this putter and want to remove the weights that are in the putter. Do you know if there’s a way to do that??
The line puts me off, it makes me feel as if I have to guide the putter. As well as taking my attention away from the stroke line.
Could it be that the line being at two levels, could help a higher handicap player determine the slope of the green when he sets the putter down? Just asking because you drew out my curiosity when you mentioned it. Would like to know what you think Mark?

The "line" issue I think is just your personal issue. I play this putter and I gave absolutely no idea what your talking about.

There are loads of people complaining about the step in the sightline on GolfWRX. I figured someone who is a contributor on that site would have known that instead of blabbering on about not hearing about it.
