    I think the value, and how basic the Accent is makes it a good option at around $15k. I've driven this 1.6L GDi engine, and you're right it has great power.

      If the touchscreen was smash that would be next level inception... although I don't think Hyundai would like that. - MT

    We owned a 2013 accent with the older 1.6, and agree with everything you said. Other than road noise...it's not a quiet car and its noticeable on a long trip. Even cranking up the mediocre stereo couldn't drown out the noise.

    What about the safety features?

    Who would choose this over the Hyundai i20? i20 looks neat but the 1.6 in this dominates and this comes with mag wheels...

    The accent looks so much nicer with alloys. Not sure about the new grill... Though this car has looked the same throughout its life, it still looks relatively fresh and stylish. Maybe if it didn't have those oversized and dated halogen headlamps. I have a 2016 model and am very pleased.

      I think it is better if a model remains pretty much the same for a long period, it is then likely to have cheaper parts / servicing and possibly insurance costs.

    Very good concise review. Does unlocking Andriod permit the option of using both apple or Andriod ?

    Why isn't Hyundai bringing the new 2018 Accent to Australia? The car looks dated. This car deserves an update.

    • @henrytoussaint7
      @henrytoussaint7 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Annoyingly the all-new version hasn't been confirmed for RHD yet 😞

      Henry Toussaint is it? As far as I know, the Accent has got it's timely updates in India. And the 2018 model is also on sale. The Accent is sold in some markets as the Hyundai Verna.

    • @henrytoussaint7
      @henrytoussaint7 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Correct, however Hyundai Australia prefers not to import Indian built Hyundai's due to higher ADR safety and/or build quality standards.

      The original Korean pronunciation is closest to HYUN-day (-hy as in Hugh, -u as in bun, -ay as in day, stressed syllables shown in upper case). Hyundai UK, including its adverts, has a different way of saying it: high-UUN-digh (-igh as in high
