Picturesque Gondola Ride through Venice Canals & Canal-Side Lunch! What to do in Venice, Italy!

- Venice, Italy is an incredibly picturesque city, with more than 100 beautiful canals, as well as over 400 bridges! One of the best ways to experience the Venetian canals is with a scenic gondola ride, like we did. We took a private 1 hour Gondola ride through the winding canals, which we'll always remember. After that we had an amazing canal-side lunch at one of Venice's many delicious restaurants called Oficina Ormesini.

That was a fun and informative video. Always amazed at how much history you know about the places you visit - and the food, OMG - everything always looks so yummy. I recently saw photos of friends who also went on the gondola ride, and I thought, wow, I think that's the same one you guys were on!:)

Soooo beautiful ❤️. The only “gondola” experience we have had so far are the ones n the mountains and “boat ones” in Venitian hotel in Vegas 😅. I know…it’s not the same thing.

Some houses’ doorsteps are inches from the water. I don’t think I want to live on the “ground” level.

The gondola ride was the highlight of our time in Venice! The water didn't smell at all, even though we've heard that it does. In 2019 the city was flooded and the water levels rose almost 2 metres above sea level. Living on the ground floor would be risky.
Not sure what they're supposed to be on my shirt, but we've been having "mochi" for dessert everyday after lunch for the past week lol.
That tapas lunch was our favourite lunch in Venice, and the aperol spritz's were perfect on a hot day.
