We ripped the Panini VIP Exclusive Gold Box from The 42nd Nationals event in Atlantic City. These are exclusive packs given out at the VIP event. We pulled some absolutely insane cards. This is part 1 of 4. Check out the rest of the videos.

These Gold packs have an Incredibly high ceiling, more so than the silver packs. BUT... the Silver packs seem to produce more Autographs.

Why does the outside of the packs say 2021? Isn't this video made in AC at the 2022 National.
The players are all 2021. So Anthony Edwards and LaMelo are rookies in this product.
The cards look awesome … but silver packs looked more 🔥than these. Hope there are some autos in there, seems like the Silver odds were better than 50% having an auto and saw many out of 2 or 5 autos in the Silver packs. These don’t feel as special which is odd.

Thanks for the comment Erik! Just wait until you see this whole box ripped. One big note is that the Gold Packs are prizm. They have the beautiful finish compared to the paper stock / foil of the Silver packs.
Better than 50% in the silver packs? You must have been watching the loaded packs given to Packman. Odds of pulling an auto in those are more like 5%.

There is a checklist and the combination ones are the numbered ones all the other ones are the base ones so dragon scale zebra tiger stripe if it's tiger stripe Disco there is a checklist you should look for it

1K PER PACK SO $240K for that box and you wonder why TRUE collectors are disgusted with this shit! You guys don't care about the hobby you care about 9.5 & 10 and PSA and Becket. You will never understand the fun of opening a pack and getting a PC hit? You care about how much you can sell that card for, not the feeling of I needed that card to complete that rainbow set.

There are autos and rookies. We had a ton of fun ripping them and based off of eBay right now they are doing well. Worth the price of entry.

I've only seen 1 other person open gold packs so far & only you & a couple others opening silver packs.
How on earth did you get 7 of these? Aren't they 1 per????

The 1 thing I wish they'd do, is move the show to more places. Like somewhere in the Midwest where more people have a reasonable travel distance.
Some place like Kansas City would have everything they need.
Also, wish they'd do these packs in different sports, so like if you only collect 1 sport the packs have that sport in them. Not enough FB 8n these & too much BB & BK IMO. Although, I only collect football.

Gday, Im 1/2 way in the video & great stuff so far, I plan to attend the panini VIP one day & how good would it be for them to add sleeves or even some top loaders in the box.
*round of applause* it would make total sense for them to add sleeves and top loaders to the package. That would be a great touch in the years to come.

Did you see @packman video? Why were the silver packs so much better than the gold packs? I mean there was an auto in every silver pack. I'd be upset if I paid that much and the silver packs were light-years better than gold packs....
I think he just got really lucky. We did 30 silvers and only got 1 auto.

@@eastwestcardshop because the average collector can't even afford a hobby box anymore , that's why . And I don't mean that to be a shot at you , I actually enjoy your videos . But the reality is , because of yt breakers being willing to pay whatever price they need to , partly because of sponsored content , and partly because an elite few of them are ridiculously rich , they , combined with the grading companies they love so much , have driven the prices through the roof . I used to by 2 hobby boxes on payday every 2 weeks , I can't even afford one now , and sadly to say , a large reason for that is TH-cam breakers .

I don’t know man. My son and I saw them at subway outside of the show and they were extremely rude to us when we approached them. My son is a big fan and was so excited to see them but when we got yelled at for “bothering them” my son bursted into tears. I understand they were eating but they didn’t have to call us losers and laugh at us. I really wish I could stand up to these bullies but unfortunately i am in a wheelchair.
Hey Devin, first of all we're appalled that this could have happened and we apologize if this happened. Most of us were in the show all day and were unaware of a Subway nearby. Now that doesn't mean this didn't happen, if it did we truly apologize. They don't represent the East West Team if that's the case.

Congrats on the awesome swag. TBH its kind of disappointing that Panini is doling out gold and silver packs to influencers and breakers instead of the people that are actually the end consumers of their products. I had to spend $400 on Panini boxes to get four silver packs (all base cards btw) on top of the thousands I spend on Panini product throughout the year. How does that make any sense?
Check your local store to see if they are selling any. I know we’ll be selling them in our shop.

Collectors should be expected to pay top dollar for single packs that were handed out to guests for free at the VIP party? I get that many of the party guests are retailers and breakers that are spending large sums of money with Panini but ultimately where does that money come from, - the people buying the products either straight up or via breaks from their local LCS or breaker. IMO it's neither fair nor equitable.

The party was a good time, some great celebrities were there for photo ops but you could tell everyone was getting antsy for the gold box.
