From someone who watched Eddie hall vids with my boyfriend and Nile video's myself seeing them all together I realised how huge Eddie is and how tiny Nile is!
Niles pretty short though, like average height for men is usually around 5.10 (obviously changing based on country) so someone who’s way above and someone who’s quite a bit below standing next to each other lets you see how crazy a difference 1 foot is.
My friends used to think my old gf was my daughter since I’m 6.3 and she was 4.9 so she only came up to around my upper abs.
What I love the most about this video is the banter. Eddie obviously respects Nile as an athlete. But he is aware enough that different sports require different strength.

@Mer DerI meant a specific exercise, such as deadlifts. If you put an article before 'exercise', in English, it means one particular movement, not the general act of exercising. I am obviously very aware that Nile works out, lol.
Considering gymnastics is such a sloppy sport with no thought of composure or technique it is crazy how is form is spot on.

@@csjs74 He's stronger if we consider the deadlift weight/body weight relation. He did 500kg deadlift when he was about 180kg. But again, it was Paddy's first time. So it is hard to tell.
@@vidarrodinsson2237 He could definitely do more with practice and confidence, but there's no need to rush or aim for those 3-400kg targets. Of course it helps being a former Olympian - I wonder what a labourer could do with Eddie & Paddy as a mentor/trainer for a day?
@@holliswilliams8426 On one hand it's not that surprising that he's able to do so well, considering the fact that he has been training eveyday for pretty much his entire life and got a medal at the olympics. But on the other hand he's retired for a reason, if he was still in top form he would be going to tokyo, but he has a serious neck and shoulder injury. So I'm still impressed with what he pulled of today. When you consider the fact that last year he couldn't even do a handstand, he's come a long way.
I feel like I have gained a new perspective on how big Eddie is. He's always hanging out with other massive athletes

Eddie officially has the greatest laugh in the game, it really cheers me up. I remember seeing him at WUS 2018 in Dubai I was wearing a red rogue t-shirt. I was talking to Oberst then I noticed him out the corner of my eye and I remember totally leaving Oberst hanging after doing a 180 shouting "Eddie! Hi!" He lost it then and there and was taunting Oberst. Classic.
