No one tell Steven when the pandemic is over so he stays in there and keeps releasing these
@@bauer444 there are plenty of new content due to the pandemic, just have to search. Anyways, it would be amazing if everyone have such a beautiful studio (and of course talent) like SW has.
Agreed😂
yea, like King Ghost.
@@ogulcanyolcu8714 eved.
You have a great collection of videos yourself, SininenKT. Superb voice and playing so please also stay inside and keep on releasing those :-)
Steven playing the guitar brought a tear to my eye :')
Yess :')
The guitar almost falling from the couch in the end broght tears to my eye
If there was a silver lining for the pandemic, regular Steven in the studio videos is it.
He’s bringing out the obscure but brilliant songs from his discography 😍😍😍😍 I’m loving it
This track is in no way obscure
@@Հովհաննես Touché. I meant underplayed in his live shows :) Gives me hope for rest will flow :)
Yes hope he does feel so low too
And btw i love your porcupine tree covers as well,Aditya
@@008_debayannath4 I love feel so Low :) And super happy to hear that u like my covers :) I’m working on a combo of Stop Swimming and Deform to Form a Star now :)
@@AdityaGuitar1 couldnt have chosen a worst combo lyricly, although musically it sounds good
I'd love to hear something from Lightbulb Sun next, like "How Is Your Life Today", "Russia On Ice" or "Feel So Low" :)
»Russia On Ice« as an acoustic version would be awesome!
I'd love to hear The Rest Will Flow
Where We Would Be
Lightbulb Sun is such an underrated album. So many beautiful gems
How is your life would be very cool
Pure magic, thank you. How about 'Heartattack In A Layby'?
YES
such a good song i total agree
Aún esperando 'Heartattack In A Layby' ;( sería majestuoso escuchar la reinterpretación de Steven
Now another suggestion:
How about a short 20 second commentary about the song you're about to perform, maybe what inspired you to write it or something? We love to hear your insights and you love to talk so it's a win-win! 👀
The mellotron absolutely makes this song! So heavenly. So sad. So... beautiful!
love the choir and string.. dark and dreamy
Deform to form a star.
It is a song that reminds me of my Father who died 30 years ago.
Significant Other is one of my favourite tracks ever, so glad this got the TFB Sessions treatment!
Honestly, Insurgentes has some of your deepest and best songs for me. Thank you, Steven, for revisiting.
The mellotron sounds like heaven here 💛
Steven Wilson one of my musical heroes..MY ASHES..PLEASE..
Mellotron incoming! Fantastic track.
When that Mellotron kicks in the song goes from atmospheric to moon shot!
That's the Steven Wilson I fell in love with musically!
"This is Steven, my significant other..." - Del Boy
The elegant, beautiful chord structure of this song really stands out even more so than the original. Thanks Steven!
Every Home is Wired would be AMAZING!
please play this on tour! And also humble suggestions: Baby Dream In Cellophane, No Part Of Me, Lips Of Ashes, Veneno Para Las Hadas
Any of these!!!! All of these!!!!!!
One of my favourite SW tunes...with added Mellotron choir😊😊👍
I suggest Feel So Low next ! It deserve a session with it's atmospheric outro ! Plus, if I'm not wrong you never played it after the Lightbulb Sun tour !
Love From Iran :X
Probably the coolest Telecaster I have ever seen

Home In Negative would be amazing.
Last day to evacuate planet Earth or trains would be amazing! Very nice work Steven! I Love your compositions!
Quintessential Steven. Why I fell in love.

Muchas gracias!! Niandra.*

Stars Die, please!!! When everything comes back to normal life, back to Brazil!!!
Edu Gomes would love to hear it in this form😍 Btw a Friend and I sampled Carl Sagan and worked on a Stats Die cover that I'm very proud of on my channel. would be honoured if you checked it out
In my opinion one of the greatest songs of his discography. The production on Significant Other (as well as all Insurgentes tracks) is incredible. So stoked to see this stripped version. I hope to hear these songs live in a not-so-distant future.. 🤞🏼
And great choice for creating game which is inspired by it(Last Day of June) ☺
I'm a little too old and a bit too crotchety to rank my favorite songs of all time, but the album version of this song is my second favorite song of all time (next to Going For the One by Yes). The first time I heard it, I constructed an entire story around it and I see that story every time I play this song. Wonderful job on the FB Sessions, too. I've seen Steven a handful of times and my buddy, Joe, has photographed him multiple times. Just an amazing talent from a distant age making music today.
Beautiful sound. I could just listen to that guitar riff in a loop for a meditation.. Actually, think I will.
Robin Guthrie-like.
That atmosphere though!
That was great.....thank God. The first few tracks I heard made me nervous. This is solid, brilliant, Steven Wilson. YES!
Great to hear he has not abandoned all hope... The latest pop shite is truly souless
very nice..... (again)....
Goose pimples! Frikin' amazing!
Wonderful song .... you are my favorite artist and I hope to see you again soon to listen to your wonderful music. I send you a full hug.
Magik,utter MAGIC
After Drown With Me (which I love unconditionally) and Significant Other, I hope to see the releasing of TFB sessions on vinyl 😃 Thanks Steven for your music ❤️
a pure magic instant... how about ... the old peace !!!
The Sky Moves Sideways (Phase One), Where We Would Be, Feel So Low...
Such a pretty song... magical and transporting.
This song makes me feel like I am flying through the air between enormous, sunlit cumulus clouds. Glorious.
Could be please "Cure for optimism" "Phantoms" or "Piano Lessons"? Cheers From Chile
This song is the closest one to my heart. It has some unique metaphysical vibe, I was deeply touched by it.
I remember when I heard this song first time, when the album released. I was on my university. I was muted for the entire day.
Steven, you're still my favorite musician. But, it's been so very long that we've seen each other. Or, at least since I've seen you. In fact it was in Atlanta, GA US- December 9, 2018 when you did the special access show. I was in the first row on your right, over by Tonto. Cool guy, by the way. Anyway, so tonight I tuned in to TH-cam (the only tube I watch) and got all nostalgic watching the old tunes on the "FB" site! You're still the same ole Steven! Don't ever change. Music yes. The man, no. Except getting better at both :-) Let's get together soon and you can share your music with a bunch of us. I miss live music. Oh, and "Significant Other" reminds me of angels on the album version. It's always been a favorite solo tune. Yu are an amazing musician, Steven Wilson. Sometimes the music brings tears to my eyes. with a smile at the same time. always wanted to say that. bye
i think Insurgentes was his best work. that album is something else.
While it isn't as beautiful as the original rendition, I'm certainly glad both exist. Couldn't help but sing along while listening.
Can't wait for this album :)
Je ferme les yeux et je voyage à chaque chanson ! ;)
Loving these fresh takes on back catalog material! Woohoo
Steven Wilson is a stairway to an outstanding imagination.
Increible!!! my favorite of that album so far. Gracias Mr. Wilson.
Beautiful. Insurjentes is still my favorite of the solo albums. It has such a unique sound. This was a great way to start my morning. Thank you for these!
I'm floating...
What a great bonus disc these songs would make
One of my favorites ever ❤️❤️
Great song, this puristic version works very well!
And no need for the Star Trek screamers. Thank you and good morning from across the pond.
Its so cool seeing SW embrace the tele. Sometimes you need that chime!
Wowwww, a Mellotron M400 under a MatrixBrute, it's a dream !
Thank you for this cover, i would absolutely love to hear you sing In Formaldehyde again, have a nice day :)
I think I prefer that version over the original one ! Bravo
in one word... WONDERFUL !
The best song writer producer instrumentalist and singer in all England
This song is marvelous!
And the Seally Bros, (say`s so on the plaque) M4000 sounding pukka !
My favorite SW song, it has a very special place in my heart... Thanks!!
I suggest Transience.
Steven, bless you. Thank you so much for these sessions they are beautiful XXXX
Play "Jupiter Island". I'm dead serious, it would make a great song in this setting.
That and nostalgia factory
Cmon, lets fly... to Jupiter Island!
@@konstantinoskominos2747 and it will rain for a million years
What about This Long Silence? That’s a bop
@@Sauron_the_god-king I'd honestly rather see him play "Footprints"
My favourite song. I've searched a live performance of it for years. Thanks you so much
This beautiful song reminds me of Steve Hackett.
Hierophant .but more intimist
That Irish singer in this song is just extraordinary. Certainly my favorite off of Insurgentes, which also happens to be one of Steven's best efforts in his entire catalog (bands and all).
Strymon pedals do the job!! Wonderful song!
One of my most favourite songs
This is a dangerous list, because these are the songs that will make me bawl my eyes out but here are a few more suggestions:
1. How is your life today
2. Half light
3. Fadeaway
4. Nine cats
5. Blank tapes
6. In formaldehyde
7. Postcard
8. Dark matter
9. Pure narcotic
10. A smart kid
Excellent choices :) Will sound amazing in this setup!! btw I have covered Half Light and Fadeaway on my channel and I’m quite proud of the sound I managed to achieve. Would love if you checked it out :)
Possibly my favorite track from Insurgentes
Wow
Beautiful song
Everything is perfect ❤️
WOOOWW..... I love those chords and the Mellotron
You're the Man !!!! Thank You for that !!!!!!!!
"Raining all day, trying to reach you

We've all been there...
I guess that others would agree - 'Heartattack In A Layby' is a great suggestion.
What a treat to wake up to!!!! I loooooooove SO!!

That would make my month.
Another fantastic song! 😊
Watching this made me happy.
Love this one! I feel like "How Is Your Life Today" would be perfect for TFB Sessions
I love this guy and his beautiful music...but i miss him live, but its a great interlude🙃
How sad and happy made me this song
I wish ALL of these Future Bite Sessions "live" studio recordings were available on a companion CD with the higher tier editions of The Future Bite album... maybe release them now? Would be a fantastic EP.
One of my most favorite songs by Steven Wilson. Melts my soul.
