    First off, Beard is on point! That’s a great length on you. Great information here. I’m a big Brio fan. Love how quite it is. I charged it once about two months ago and have cut my hair about 8-10 times and still have 90 minutes left in battery life.

  • @laszlogere5062

    Like your vids very informative. I followed your advice and got a brio. You are not the only one recommending this product. Unfortunately its pulling hair quite often. Tried to oil it with the inclueded oil. Made the situation a little bit better but still pulls the hair. I sent it back on amazon and now iam back to use my nearly 10 year old corded Philips machine which never not once pulled my beard hair. I was wondering if you got any other recommendation? Also what could be my issue? I checked the reviews of the brio on amazon and other then the 90 percent 5 star review the rest of the people were complaining about the same thing. Could it be faulty product? Or just my beard type is different.
    I just ordered the gamma plus absolute hitter hopefully will have no issues with that one.

    Finally a quick to the point review on the best trimmers of 2019, everyone is talking about the Wahl & Brio, but since I am on a budget I might go ahead and get the wahl since it has so many good reviews, I was about to get the Brio even though it was expensive, but some bad reviews were that it may cause cuts and it doesn't have a zero protector and one review said it had a malfunction on it, idk, but I guess I'll just try my luck with Wahl for now, thanks for the review man.

      Love the OneBlade, but it doesn't give me a beard, really. Good for stubble, but if you try to trim your beard with it, you'll shave it off. Or at least that's my experience.

  • @dsmith1283
    @dsmith1283 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The tips for trimming say to use oil, balm, and even butter BEFORE using the trimmer. Am I wrong for disagreeing? Isn't it better to trim after brushing or while hair is in it's natural state?
    I guess it comes down to personal preference -- some guys like getting a haircut dry while others like spraying it down first.

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Well, it's best, in our experience, to trim your beard how it's going to look every day. If that's au natural, then don't put product in. If you use products daily, and trim natural, your beard may not lie the same as it does with product in it.

    So I have a question. What would you recommend for those who are JUST about to start growing out a beard ? Such as myself. I was looking into the Wahl & Braun beard trimmers since they were the only two I actually saw at Target. I’m not looking to growing it out too long. I’m going for a clean even look. Sorry I’m not the best with explanations. But any help would be great. Thank you again ✨

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you say not too long, what are you referencing? Spencer here is about 4-5 inches from the bottom of the lip to the bottom of the beard. We definitely recommend not trimming or shaving until about the 3-4 month mark to really allow your hairs to push through.

    • @jayyreyes6107
      @jayyreyes6107 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Live Bearded
      Well in terms of length I guess my best explanation would be a “Stubble Beard” and maintaining such look until it grows in even more full. How would I clean up the shaggy look phase ? I work in retail so I do have to be cleaning myself up often especially since I work with only women.

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to get a good full beard if you are trimming in the early stages. As previously stated, the 3 month mark is where you really start to take shape. Brio Beardscape is definitely atop the list. You will just need to find a guard you are comfortable with and go from there. I would suggest only trimming your sideburns and maybe around your lip at first. Leave the under beard alone as that is where the thickness comes from. Your beard line should start about a fingers width above your Adam's apple, not in your jawline.

    • @livebearded
      @livebearded  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      As far as we know the closest shaves you can get from a tool not called a razor, is a foil trimmer. These get about as close to the skin as possible, but I'm not sure they come with attachments for actual trimming and grooming. Great question bro!

      Live Bearded lol I was joking. Probably letting out the frustration of a decade ago being in high school and being bagged out for being a man amongst boys with a few pubes. And that takes me 6 months aswell. If your beard grows any quicker you’ll literally be able to see the growth occurring.
      More to the point I love the work you’ve done. I’ve been going manual for a decade or so now. Cut throat, feather open blade, a safety razor, sciccors and taping scissors. But it’s way too time consuming and annoying. Might have to try that wahl to start and see if it’s convincing enough to stick with
