Because they were a wedding band for a very longtime and she was a singer when she was small. She joined a lot of singing competition on tv and any events at school that is why she knows a hundred of songs already when they did the YT livestream. That is why it was so easy for them.
Okay guys this particular video was done when they first started the band and there were covid travel restrictions. Also remember that Gigi's first talent contest she did the imitation of Jennifer Hudson. Now go to the fact that she is also an actress and dancer, and she's been competing vocally since she was 8 years old. And then add god-given talent hard work and high character. Love your Gigi reactions ❤. As for your question about the livestreams, yes the viewers request songs & they do it on the spot. These livestreams ran for 3 hours & they would do it 2x a week. I think they did this for over 2 yrs. They are a wedding band so they know a lot of songs. Most of the time they will nail the songs, but sometimes they screw up too which is fine. They just laugh it off. The livestreams are very casual & relaxed & they all act crazy & goofy. The better performances get uploaded on their channel. This one you reacted to is not from the livestream. This was one of the earlier videos when it was just her & Jon.
Gigi & Jon also performed IM NOT THE ONLY ONE by Sam Smith. It was recorded the same time as this song.

It's funny that some people can't believe Gigi really sings while sitting down. The simple answer is yes, and she's absolutely great at it! She's a Pinay after all. A lot of regular folks here in the Philippines, including me, do this whenever we're in videoke (karaoke) bars. Not everyone will be good, of course, but I've seen lots of great ones.
By the way, yes, they do get requests live but still decline some songs they're not too familiar with. It's been awhile though and I miss their live streams 😢
duribg the pandemic they do live streams twice a week and accepts song request, and because of the travel restrictions and lockdown we took our beers in front of the smart tv and watch their live steam like a live band in front of us. and requesting our favorite songs while sending money via gcash as a tip for them. they provided entertainment to us and keep us sane during the pandemic.
