Paaji sabh kuch sahi hai but regarding engine ur thoughts are not correct..Figo has Ford Fiesta engine which has very good life..even I have seen cars completing 4Lacs km..TDCI engine has more life than DDIS

i have this figo with tdci.. its a magical engine. more kilometers u do the more capable the engine is.. just completed 2 lak kms. akl it needs is a 10k kms service. if u r good to him he is double good to u. i love my figo.

1. Its engine is one of the best engines and much reliable.
2.This car is in no comparision with swift i20 i10 as it is far superior.
3. I have never felt power lag in this.. power delivery is owsm even at low rpm that is Not the case with maruti cars... I drive swift as well.. it is in no comparision with figo in terms of power. You press the paddle and get the power in figo.....
4.This car is so stable and confident that even at 150+... it feels like you are driving at 110

Both front shocker cost 3500
Both rear wheel bearings cost 5400
AC pulley it’s cost approximately 4000

My car still mileage on highway at speed 90 kmph is 22kmpl after 90000 km run and 16 kmpl in city

I have also run ecosport 130000kms. Still no issue with engine , service or any mileage problem..

I have learnt driving in this car. 1.5 yrs back. I have petrol version 2011 Figo. I am in love with the handling of this car. Steering is a bit stiff and that gives confidence when you cruise on highway. I have driven swift and it doesnt give me confident because of light steering. Also mileage is a huge concern in this car. I will only stick to Ford. Planning to buy Ford freestyle.
Even in 2018 its still my fav car...timeless design and amazing handling!! I ll go for it over i20 or baleno if gets launched in 1.2 Dragon engine.
Amazing review...this is my first ever comment on youtube...proud figo owner...my figo has run 1.25 lacs till date...my figos engine is still seemless...ride quality is still amazing...u missed speakers and sound which make ride more pleasurable...economy is great...a/c is by far d fabulous for a hatchback...though lacks some power in gear2 with a/c on but then catches up well...stoutly built...way better than maruti or hyundai in terms of sterdiness...i have a i 10 as well but figo is unmatcahable...thanks for d review...

Thanks for the great review and its one of the most detailed review on TH-cam.
I bought Figo in 2011,and as a real owner of TDCI Diesel ZXI i have only positive things to say.
1. I have driven this car for more than 1 Lach Kms and i have never faced any reliability issues.
2. This car is solid in terms of quality as nothing has failed till now, Including the swtiches in music system. Everything works.
3. The performance has not shown any signs of degrading. It feels much better than cars of today.
4. The AC is Figo in bigger in CC capacity and performs much better for india conditions.
5. The boot space in this car is great and rear seat folds flat for additional space. I have done house shifting in this car and never really had any issues while travelling with family.
6. Its great handling car and really satisfying. The best place to be is the driver seat.
7. My servicing cost has been around 4500 for periodic service every 10K Kms. The only big bill i have paid is for 36,000 at 80K kms when i changed Brake shoes on all wheels, alternator belt, AC Refresh and got complete car shampooing.
8. The average fuel economy i get in city ( Horrible Hyderabad traffic ) is 17.5 to 18 in City ( AC always ON ) and 21 KMPL in Highway.
9. I have driven the car for 1200 Kms in 36 hrs as i travel on business on multiple occasions ( Business) and i have never felt tired or exhausted even with self driving. I feel its better than my XUV500 in that respect and our first choice for long drives.
10. Figo loves Highways and outshines every other hatchback currently on sale.
11. I once had a serious accident on Highway where I hit a buffalo and then divider, as i was not able to see then in darkness after sharp turn. It was pretty horrific one, however to my surprise,the only damage i had was dent in right fender and bumper. Literally we cant imagine surving in any other car and less damage in other car. We stopped for 30 mins to come out of shock and drove the rest of the journey as if nothing has happened.
12 . I'm planning to buy a another small car, preferably automatic to handle my daily office commute and dont find a reason why i should switch from Figo. It has all the comforts i need and is showing no signs of aging. We have changed our plan to keep figo and rather buy 7 seater to accomodate our bigger family.
13. As most people believe, Figo engine life is more than 2.5 Lakh KMS as long as your maintain it properly. My friend who runs a Pharma company had Fiestas for managers and they all lasted more than 3 Lakh kms. The only other cars who could do that were Toyota Innovas. I'm talking average of 5000 Kms + mileage every month.
The Negatives :
1. The lighting in this car is average as its as per Highway standards set by US. They are not overly bright as you would expect in India. I got the headlights replaced with Bixenon setup post warranty and that problem is fixed now. This problem in not releavent to Next Gen Figo though.
2. In city traffic on Diesel Figo, The car needs to shift to 1st gear more often then 2nd which is sometimes troublesome.
3. The rear windows do not have power windows even in top spec model. We dont know why Ford chose to skip that feature. its not a deal breaker as its never been a problem however just letting you people know .
4. There are loads of people who will talk about , Ford chalte ho, iske toh maintaince bahut zyada hoga and all. Its more of people talking than real issue. Sometimes i just have to explain things to them . The resale value suffers as most of the people come with wrong notion and expect bargain price for Quality car.

My Figo is still running on original clutch system and rear brake shoes.

Fantastic review sir. Loved it. The best I have seen and heard so far. Pls review the ford fiesta 1.4 tdci classic too.. I have it and it has done 1.3 lac. The car has recently developed acceleration hesitation. Though that has decreased quite a lot after An STP injector cleaner shot. But it is still there. Pls advice. Regards
Servicing or replacing injectors will help. I had the same issue at 1.4km

Yes, agree with you on this #SpareWheel, I too faced engine head gasket issues with 1.4 TDCI engine. Engine is very torquey and people rev the nuts of it due to the torquey feel and as a result I have seen head gaskets expanding and leak engine oil from engine head and that ends the life of the engine. And if fuel filter is not changed within the stipulated time then there is air locks.

Don't buy it, the car average is very bad and servicing too costly
Service cost as told by you is totally wrong .. 3500-3700 thats what bhagat ford Pathankot charges for this car (minus Diesel filter) .... Apart from authorised service stations if get your service done even by a local mechanic just remember to get the orignal filters (500 for both) and valvoline sae 5w 30 fully synthetic oil (rs 1650 ie 4ltrs) , total would be arond 2500(with labour), using 5w 40 or 10w 30 is not recommended .... Car will easily last over 250,000 KM's .. but buying a second hand from an unknown guy can cause a havoc . Else Figo is an awesome machine.
The cost I told in the video was a service bill given to me from Bhagat Ford, Pathankot only, because the car is from Gurdaspur. And that service job had no additional repairs.
Now I smell some ghapla-ghotala 😂
Also, one of my friends used to pay Rs 9000 for auth service back in 2012 in Amritsar. Fords were expensive back then.
Back is 2012 , there were issues ... the brake pads used to cost around 4200 , its 1400 now , clutch palets were araoun 9k ... Now its around 3300 now , each and every part apart from ford agency is available at Hindustan motors , pathankot, United motors pathankot and there a authorised spare part hub at jalandhar , international spares , no matter even if u stay at dinanagar , you just give them a call explain the part needed and the very next morning it vl reach you ... Baaki about agency ghotala i dont believe in 6k bill for a regular service (there must have been add ons), and costly unnecessary add ons are at every agency even at maruti , my worst experience with such kind of things has been with castle toyota Amritsar , those morons took away my cars alloy wheel caps , i raised a complaint, its been over 6 months didn't even get a call back , try this call back thing thing with ford india, ul notice the vast difference in todays and 2012's ford, anyhow for your next time find a guy called deepak (service advisor) and a mechanic called goldy , do communicate your 6k issue ... We have 3 fords at home , and have never faced a problem regarding cost, parts availability or the vehicle reliability .. just for the note my 2012 ford has done 195k kms and is nothing less then a butter ,the problem with old figo is not exactly the aluminium block , its the lack of intercooler due which engine gets a hit when used in a rugged manner , about the new 1.5 engine ... m sure it won't give up before 400k .. its a beast ... You gave a v good review kudos to that but just that 6k thing is not believable , and the way ford guys love there fords can be seen in the views section (figo is way above ur etios or Swift's review)

I own Figo Dsl 2011 model . I ve virtually learnt driving on it. Fully satisfied. The reviewer is talking of fine handling. I agree. Steering control is so precise that u r confident by feeling the wheels obey ur command to turn even by an inch left or right. However the reviewer has forgotten to opine about low ground clearance due to which the undercarriage tends to kiss the speed breaker every now and then. I ve mostly plied it on longdrives, sometimes offroading too, and it never failed me. Mileage Is 14 15 in city and 18 on highway. I m not an accomplished driver. Yet I luv it. It s done 39000 kms

Mre kol hyundai i 20 hai.. Bht hi bakwas handling hai.. Steering is so unpridictable may b becoz of its electrical steering.. I never feel the confidence to drive it over 100 on highway.

Figo was 70kgs heavier than Swift.
Less power and more weight. It could never beat Swift.

This is the first generation Figo and it doesn’t have a hexagonal grill. It has a trapezoidal grill

Figo is all time favourite..,maine bahut si gadiya rkhi or chalayi...lekin figo ki handling me jitni stability ati ha na....gajjab ka mzaa ata ha ...and stability.... really yr really yrr awesome awsm awsm....i sold it one year ago...but planning to buy it again if get in good condition

Ford fiesta petrol maine 5 years use kiya hai ford ki cars bilakul mat kharido ford ki car purchase matalab maintenance ki dukan kharid lena hai kabhi kidhar suna aur dekha nahi hoga aise aise problems aate hai ford me electric ekadam falatu hai ford me key nikaloge to sath me andar ka poora bahar aata hai power stearing ghumane ke baad oil bahar aata hai electric kharab hone par local me repairing nahi hota only service centre & bill lakh rupees ke aas paas jata hai key nikalne ke baad bhi 2-3 mins engine on rahata hai car purani hone pan gear hard hote hai resale value bahut kam hai maine 7lakhs me purchase kiya tha 55k km chalane ke baad 64k me bech diya please never buy ford cars uske baad swift diesel liya 2 lakhs km chalaya only service cost ek baar clutch plate suspension baki kuch nahi maintenance best hai maruti never break down ford kbhi bhi kharab hota hai maruti ya toyota lelo

Bro my swift had gear failure on 60000 kms....maruti dealer was charging 22000/- for same.....when I complained they reduced the price....Maruti is big liar in saying service cost is low...they charged 7500/- for normal service of swift zdi.....bought eco sport.....driven 42000 kms....service cost 3500-4500/-.....and best of all I know my family is safe in this car....
