Thanks for your amazing videos! I really love videos like this, which focus on continuations that occur later on, after the joseki moves. There are a decent amount of videos on joseki in english, but very little on later continuations such as this one, so its extremely helpful!

Common mistake by koreans who try to speak english: finally vs eventually Finally - you say it when something that you were anticipating has happened, or the goal was reached "White was supposed to live, and finally he did" - after lots of struggle, he reached the goal (to live) Eventually - you say it when something subsequently happens, but not necessarily that it was the goal "White was supposed to live, and eventually he did" - later in the game, white lived with the group (among other events) "Eventually black has to connect here" - sometime later in the game, black needs to connect "Finally black connects here" - it was anticipated that black would connect here, and he finally did it Also instead of "you can play" we usually say that "it's playable for black/white" - the position isn't bad enough for black/white to say that the game is over Or "it's still a (long) game" - the balance didn't change enough to say that the game is over, so it shall continue
@@BadukDoctor "finally" puts emphasis on the action, and implies that there was some kind of anticipation. While "eventually" just states the matter of facts. You can use "eventually" almost every time, and if you want to emphasize the action you can use "finally"
@@user-qj5mi2fj3g Sometimes the line between these two words is extremely fine: "Eventually he had to resign." "Finally, he had to resign." It's super subtle.
