I literally can't remember the last time I got a prompt response from a woman via text. With every piece of advice, I get more and more confused...and more and more frustrated. As a guy I can say that almost all of these also apply to guys when they like a girl. I don't always play with my hair but I definitely smile with my eyes (Basically trying to get her to notice and look into my eyes) and laugh (To let her know that I am listening to her and let her know she is funny) whenever I am talking to a girl.

Why would you compliment a guy that you don't like? "I like your hair!" "That shirt is so funny! "Hi. You got new shoes, eh? They look nice!" You mean that you are going to say these things, but it isn't proof AT ALL that you like me? I guess that would depend if you are liking me AS A FRIEND as opposed to liking me in a romantic way. In that case, perhaps we can bring up the "When Harry Met Sally" debate, that a man and women can (or can't) become friends because sexual feelings might get in the way.
