How does killer instinct handle health and dmg I saw SO many games end with a magic pixel just hanging on. Hype top 8 though such a fun game to watch
Every hit will deal permanent and potential damage (the part of HP turn transparent) like mvc3 except as there's no assist system, you'll eventually recover the potential damage if you haven't taken any damage in 3-5 second. To convert potential damage to permanent, you need to start a combo then land a finisher special.
If there's potential health left after true HP is fully depleted, any subsequent hits will convert potential into true damage (or they can just land a finisher to instantly end the round/match).
I love sonic dolphin. I was cheering him on so hard. Great sets.

Zoning always wins games, kilgore and fulgore just spamming projectiles. how was anyone excited for this? sad seeing non projectile chars struggle so bad.
