This. This is video is crazy good. The suspension you build up, the slowed down shots of the crew and locomotive moving around, the camerawork, it’s all unbelievably good. This is borderline professional Movie quality. This video is what I strive to be in my camerawork. Please if you can, let me know what camera, tripod/fluid head, and editing software you use it’s just that good. Is this Adobe after effects by any chance? Again, incredible stuff. P.S would you happen to know the lettering font that the Reading used for their locomotives such as 2102 in the video?
Thank you, we appreciate the feedback! For information on our equipment, we recommend taking a look here: th-cam.com/video/xPEWOcWSUPQ/w-d-xo.html - most everything that was used in the making of this video is mentioned there. The Reading-style font used in this video is the "Bessemer" font from RailSimStuff, a very close approximation to the proper font.
@@PennsyPro So I just got done watching the video but I have just one question. With the Canon Mark 50 how do you zoom and pull back so smoothly? Is this something done in post or is this something done live on set of filming? The reason I ask is because I know DSLR’s can sometimes have a reputation having poor zoom qualities while providing amazing pictures.

Awesome Video. Love 425’s Reading 6 Chime Echoing At Millers. Sounded Like A Lost Soul Wailing.

Wow, imagine 2102 doubleheading with 113, 765 or 611 one day, that would be awesome! Well done, that’s epically beautiful!
The whole 60 miles between Reading and Jim Thorpe would be chaos.
3:00 Is that a plant in 2102's coal bunker?
That's a tree branch chopped down with the force of the '02's exhaust.
Andy Muller turned 75 years old?! Holy crap.
