Thank you for the great info, I would definitely enjoy watch more types of videos that go over programming theory. If you could add some evidence based research that would be super cool also.

great video mate! How many combination of exercises can you do per training day? like pull exercises one day and push the next training day? or do both on one day and the next do like a metcon?
Great video! Very helpful for me trying to program at home just getting into CF after a few years of bodybuilding/powerlifting training and wanting to transition to something I think is more functional. When you say test week, what would you be testing? 1 rep maxes, a benchmark CF WOD or something else?
Whatever that cycle of programming is going to focus on. You could test your mile run, a 5 rep max front squat, how many unbroken kipping pull ups you can do, etc.
@@ConstantlyVariedFitness thanks for the help. If I'm working from home would you advise at least getting coaching for Oly lifts as they're so technical? I'm in the UK so it's difficult to find a box close to me hence the home gym
Great video, however would definitely be interesting to see how you vary and choose your rep ranges, sets for strength vs metcon etc. Although ik that can vary a lot. But maybe give what you subscribe to: conjugate, wendler- however you choose and why. Thanks again!
I've been researching crossfit for a couple hours and it just seems so needlessly complicated. Obviously it works, but I feel there are simpler ways to get the same kind of all-over fitness. This seems designed to to make professional guidance more necessary.
You say barbell cycling!! You talking c&j/ snatch / back squat/f squat/deadlift/ohp right.. what strength or hypo trophy/or power For example that cycle would be 10’weeks on barbell work with sets 6x3 for example?
Thanks for sharing!

I may do a brief video covering it, but sharing the content I subscribe to isn't a big idea either!
I would definitely like to know what you choose to do during your cycle and why.
