I’m also looking at the Xgimi Mogo Pro. Did you compare this against any of the other popular portable choices out there? This one says it is 700 ANSI lumens, which is high for this size. Does it seem like it is that bright?
It is very bright when plugged in. As soon as the charger comes off it drops to about 500 lumens. Before this projector I had the ZTE Spro2 and a standard Goode projector. This projector is great my only complaints are the workaround for Netflix and the low internal storage. If the Xgimi Mogo Pro can play Netflix easier then I would get that one. I will put out a review on the Formovie Dice next week so subscribe to see it :)
Hi, could you please share the store you purchased the unit from? Is this portable with built-in battery? If so how long does it last after fully charge? Thanks!
Hi thanks for the review. Just one question. After autofocus, does the image form a nice rectangle? My image is sharp, but its not a nice rectangle so its a little annoying.
@@matteventu thanks for reminding me! The seller did provide me with an apk that is compatible with the projector. So I can watch Netflix natively on the projector. Small problem though is that I have to install the apk everytime I turn on the projector but its better than not having Netflix at all.
I have installed Netflix app using APK file. Watched 3 tv series of Crown. On first app run it shows error -14 not optimized and after click OK everything works well.
Is this projector 3D capable as it states? I seriously doubt that. After trying for 3 months and doing all the research I could not make it work. I even bought Fengmi gasses thinking this might be compatibility issue but that too didn't work.
@@TedTalksTech Oh. I really like the projector but I hate the strap. Also I want to hang it from the ceiling so the strap would look terrible. Anyway, I guess I will just buy the projector and cut it the strap
@@yhrfeyxm imo this is the best smart projector on the market. The big gacha tho us you have to find a way to get Netflix on it and it might be through a seller. If you only watch tv at night then this will replace a tv
@@TedTalksTech yeah ive seen this mentioned in reviews. But I can always hook up my mi TV stick and have Netflix That way. But yeah it's a headache since I'll then need power for outdoor use 😣. How is it for day time use? I mean not super bright with sun out.
@@yhrfeyxm as I said if you only watch TV at night it will be fine. Despite this being the brightest smart project on the market you really wont be satisfied with daytime viewing unless you have the curtains pulled. Note: curtains will be needed because blinds will not do.

Yes, I have been able to Chromecast Hbomax, Prime video, and youtube TV.

I dont believe so, no mention of it in instructions and I cant see how to do it without breaking it.

There is no difference in terms of the hardware or software (Android TV). Only difference is aftermarket support which can vary.
