Oops...kinda got off on the wrong foot with the "cars you can actually drive" comment. Revology's branding is about contrasting their cars with the fact that old cars, even updated ones, really don't turn out well. But Foose's cars are rolling art and are done to very high standards, and are real hotrods that really do drive as good as they look. What Revology's real message is: "most classic cars are unsafe at any speed, and even the ones that get some updates are not very well done." It is just a big mistake to lump all hotrods into this message. Revology was right to get Foose to have a look. Revology cars are production focused Foose machines. We love Foose cars. They are perfection. Foose is a car savant and is in touch with every part of the car world and his love and craftsmanship are poured into every tiny detail of everything he touches. Revology has brought that craftsmanship from that high place and made it a bit more accessible through a standardization process. Revology cars are what us mere mortals might aspire to, because a Foose car is so far out of reach. Revology needs to re-think their brand message a bit. Not change what they do, just get away from the idea that theit cars are not hotrods. They are hotrods of a very high Standard. They are what we love about they best hotrods, with none of the drawbacks of all those merely "resto-modded old cars" -- Foose is the ideal, Revology is the dream you can reach. Don't let Foose get hold of it , He'll lower it, low profile tires, some flower looking wide rims, and a stripe down the side, you gotta Foose fu@kup car. Have never seen a Foose car I like.
I like what you guys do but found your comments to Chip disrespectful. I may not always like Chip's work but there's no reason to put down the entire hot rod genre. Each of you have a place in the market and make the hobby (and that's what it is) is better off with both of you in t.
i like more the revology kind of approach than the foose kind of approach. but in the "explaining" what you do, and trying to get the approval from a famed person... you kind of insulted his kraft... saying "real cars" and "you can actually drive" . . . then Chip just got silent and minimum polite to get through the day.
Mr. Revology , First off your company isnt doing any thing new most rodders and custom build guys are using Ford coyotes and chevy LS engines as you are which gives daily reliability and is now common place . Not to be disrespectful but your product is mostly off the shelve items
The wheels don't look right. The glaring omission is the roll bar. They don't repop those, so sol..also shelby didn't build the 68s. All were built at AO Smith at Livonia Mi in Nov 1967.
I was not surprised at Chip's lack of response, as stock appearing is not his thing. Personally when it comes to classic muscle cars I like them as stock looking as possible. I've seen Chip's work on TV and in my opinion he ruined some really nice cars with his customization.
Chip, bro'..as an old dude..roll with it, you're an American hot rod icon..Mr. Revology has an opinion..you're on camera Chip..be a cool dude not a ruffled feathers pissy old baby..it's optics, man.. welcome to being publicly aware and...cool when the camera is looking..
Oem chip is tight lipped because oem is not putting a coyote with an tci chassis under a kit car looks Hella nice though and great job but not an oem restoration like back in the 60s😅
Chip with you at Revology. Hmmm... As I expected, his contemptuous personality was clearly visible. It is not his place to tell you: "your name should be there" in place of the CJ emblem on the dash. You aren't going to look at one of his cars, and say "you shouldn't have done this. You should do this". I met him once, and that was enough for me. He verifies his lack of design ability with the 1971 custom Mustang he built, by using 1969 Camaro RS tail lights on the build. Anyway, keep up the phenomenal craftsmanship at Revology.

Are you guys asleep? Chips attitude changed right after Tom implied you can't drive a hot rod everyday. Who the hell has a custom car builder at a shop and tells him that his cars are better?
Yeah thats the thing. Mustangs were intended to be a price for value car. These on the other hand are like the rich person idc about what I spend money on kind of car.
Man was Chip hungover??????????????
He sure didn't seem his normal self thats for sure...
Tom told Chip he "builds cars you can drive" implying Chip doesn't.
To bad you didn't keep with the classic '68 theme for the engine size on the fenders by using cubic inches instead of liters.
What crawled up chips @ss and died? At least the video showed Tom to be well spoken and relaxed, just the way a spokesman should be. Nice job Revology.
Tom crawled up Chip's ass when he suggested you couldn't drive hot rods. Pay attention.
Harvey needs to pull his own head out and pay attention!! Tom insulted Chip and every hot rodder right out of the gate!!
You insult the guy, double down on the insult later on, and then you want praise?
How some people in the comments didn't catch that, I'll never know.
You seemed kinda condescending to be honest.
I want one!!!! Yes Revology over foose every time
Don't let Foose get hold of it , He'll lower it, low profile tires, some flower looking wide rims, and a stripe down the side, you gotta Foose fu@kup car. Have never seen a Foose car I like.
I like what you guys do but found your comments to Chip disrespectful. I may not always like Chip's work but there's no reason to put down the entire hot rod genre. Each of you have a place in the market and make the hobby (and that's what it is) is better off with both of you in t.
"you can drive hotrods!" yeah, to the local bar and with a support truck following. 🤣
I guess Chip is not easily impressed....He really didn't seem to care too much for the car other than to say "nice car"...😎
Missed the mark with the 5.0, should have went with the 428 CJ..
i like more the revology kind of approach than the foose kind of approach. but in the "explaining" what you do, and trying to get the approval from a famed person... you kind of insulted his kraft... saying "real cars" and "you can actually drive" . . . then Chip just got silent and minimum polite to get through the day.
Hopefully Chip Foose will show up next time.
He did show up. Tom the dipped insulted him right out of the gate!
Agree, you "can't drive hotrods "? Seriously?
Mr. Revology , First off your company isnt doing any thing new most rodders and custom build guys are using Ford coyotes and chevy LS engines as you are
which gives daily reliability and is now common place . Not to be disrespectful but your product is mostly off the shelve items
Kinda awkward to watch once Chip entered the frame. Guessing he needs some wife time…. Beautiful car, a dream car.
Chip "tight lipped" is an understatement. Almost cringe worthy.
Now I'll say it - GREAT CAR, GREAT ACHIEVEMENT!
Chip Foose seemed less than impressed with your opening comment about hot rods not being drivable cars.
Boy , you got that right dude
You need to look up other things foose has done besides the TV show
😂 "We're in the white space." No shit, Tom
Chip, bro'..as an old dude..roll with it, you're an American hot rod icon..Mr. Revology has an opinion..you're on camera Chip..be a cool dude not a ruffled feathers pissy old baby..it's optics, man.. welcome to being publicly aware and...cool when the camera is looking..
... Chip could sign the dash, and it's STILL not worth $275,000... Sorry , not sorry.
How much does something like that cost? It's beautiful. Chip is a little full of himself at times. I see the prices, thanks
Wrong! Chip isn't full of himself dummy, Tom insulted him right out-of the gate. Pay attention next time!
I think Chip was jealous of your creation, lol 😆
I got the impression Chip's lack of enthusiasm was due to lack of interest in a car so close to stock. It's just not Foose's world.
Chip looks annoyed 😂
Oem chip is tight lipped because oem is not putting a coyote with an tci chassis under a kit car looks Hella nice though and great job but not an oem restoration like back in the 60s😅
Come back after you pass English class.
I am amazed people are willing to pay 0ver 200 grand for a Mustang. I would not pay that much for any car period.
Chip was a rude guest. The car is mind blowing. Chip not so.
Just doesn’t look right to me. Without a CJ under the hood, it’ll never be a KR, and the proportions are wrong on the modern chassis.
So nice. Dare I say that Chip was a little jealous he didn’t do that one???
Chip with you at Revology. Hmmm... As I expected, his contemptuous personality was clearly visible. It is not his place to tell you: "your name should be there" in place of the CJ emblem on the dash. You aren't going to look at one of his cars, and say "you shouldn't have done this. You should do this". I met him once, and that was enough for me. He verifies his lack of design ability with the 1971 custom Mustang he built, by using 1969 Camaro RS tail lights on the build. Anyway, keep up the phenomenal craftsmanship at Revology.
of course unless china can build these for you and the price drops in half, that would help your margin
you need to sell over a hundred of these a year to make it profitable
you’re half way there
good luck though and i mean that
Why a 68'? 67' is the best year as Ford had less involvement.
I think you pissed Chip off buy saying hotrods aren't real cars and you cant drive them everyday.
