I'm 68, started surfing in 1964 and surfed in Bali only once, in 1977. Only 3 other guys out at UIu Watu, besides me and a mate. I wouldn't surf there now if you paid me! (Okay, for sure, my surfing has been going downhill for some years now, but who likes crowds?!)

I'm 62, first started surfing in 1965, lived in Hawaii surfing 1975-79, and I can tell you the sport is getting ruined because of crowds of people who are straight up kooks!
