look like the "UGLY" pictures on the wall have more "WORKMANSHIP" than the clothes.
These dresses are fine, but how are they couture? Where is the craft, opulence, and the grandeur of haute couture? Haute couture is supposed to be the epitome of fashion, yet the last cruise collection had more beauty, artfulness, and even design in it?

I love the simplicity and elegance of Maria's designs but she really needs to elevate the couture so it doesn't look like her ready to wear. You need to feel special. Regarding most of the earlier looks on the runway "Great! I have a one of kind custom dress from Zara!"

💓 I think it was brave for Maria Grazia Chiuri to take this step with the collection 👍. It shows that haute couture can also have other facets and that new paths are open. When she first started, she introduced the t-shirt in ready-to-wear fashion at Dior and is now consistently continuing this path in haute couture. I think I understand the idea of liberation behind it. I didn't find it particularly appreciative to deny the craftsmanship of this collection. This skill can be seen in many of the details of the collection, which illustrate the difference to the reday to wear line. Haute couture is supposed to be innovative and seek a dialogue with today's life situation and thus begin a creative process. I think that's exactly what Maria Grazia achieved. I don't find it surprising that this move also generates a lot of criticism and controversy. ❤.

It’s unbelievable. They rely on the artwork and creating an ambiance so you don’t see the clothes as much. What the heck is going on this is the second show. I watched that I can’t believe it’s a Dior.

Just because it worked on Virginie doesn’t mean it’s going to work on her besides must have her pieces are much easier to style compared to Chanel. Plus, despite everything that’s going on she still making the company money and that’s all that matters.

The trouble is is that now that Virginie has left Chanel she’s going to be receiving a lot more hate than ever before, but people only tolerate her because she allows the clients to re-create existing pieces that were created before she came in

Coleção lindíssima. A contrução dos drapeados com inspiração grega belíssima. Porém as peças não comunicam Alta costura está mais para linha resort ou cruise. O trabalho de Maria graça é incrível. Porém está coleção não expressa o DNA da mulher Dior.

They are all dresses and swimsuits, some things are pretty but I don't like white dresses, curtain type and satin fabric, or Cleopatra dresses.
You’re not wrong, but at a certain point you kind of have to accept the fact that she’s going to be there probably for the long time design pieces that can be easily copied and on top of that most of the pieces are gonna be style differently. The thing about her work is that it’s much easier to style compared to Chanel when it wasunder virginie.

It's a shame if this collection isn't appreciated. You have to look at the clothes carefully and not superficially. There are publications from Dior about this collection where the masterful craftsmanship of each dress can be seen.
So cheap looking, boring n almost fall asleep just after few dresses...is time to change the designer!!!
